I am a fan ,a die-hard and i am disgusted at how much this defense has regressed. Some of u here need to stop drniking the kool-aid.The d-line is not that great. The QB on the other side always seems to have a clean pocket.I am sick of it!

Something not mentioned at all today.

Is Mccourty back yet? He wasn't burnt to a crisp today.

Flawed team and its gonna show down the road.Cant stop anyone.Cant get pressure.Horrific on 3rd down just like last year.Welker is a great little player but i keep saying it over and over that this team needs more production from the wrs on the outside.Brady seems to eye Gronk too much at times.

The Pats DID get pressure today. Did you not see how many times that Jason Campbell was forced to scramble out of the pocket???

I do agree that the Pats need "more production from the WRs on the outside", but you seem to be missing that Welker has been lining up OUTSIDE a lot. I think a better statement is that the Pats need to have more production from the other WRs...

The Pats forced the Raiders to punt twice but also had a critical 4th down stop on the goal-line.

Are they flawed? Yes.. For a variety of reasons. One of which is the lack of a proper off-season. Another is the injuries to Pryor and Wright so early in the season. Not to mention that Brace and Deaderick started the year on the PUP. When you have so many new people on a defense, (not to mention you get rid of your veteran safeties), you are going to be flawed.

Happy with the win.

Posatives:

No turnovers on O

Ridley and BJGE ran the bell very well

Offensive line both run blocked and protected brady well today against a very good and motivated front 4.

Special consideration to Solder again who is impressing as a rookie.

Welker... what more can you say.

Couple more catches for Ocho tonight.

Defense turned the ball over in a couple of key situations and except for a 41 yarder kept Mcfaden in check most of the day.

Negatives:

Pass D once again is this teams weakness (broken record)

To me it seems like alot of teams are now just throwing deep balls and the pats don't seem to play this very well.

Brady didn't have his best game accuracy wise but as i said above (no int's)

I'm starting to wonder if mesko is just an average punter or not. He went ok today don't get me wrong but looking at a truely NFL leading punter up against Mesko, he has a while to go.

All in all good Road win from the pats... on to the jets next week and as much as i hate to say it, Go ravens this week.

Liked the offensive balance, potentially losing Mayo is Big if hes gone more than a few weeks. IMO the D is still getting use to the 4-3 but even if and when they do i don't think they have enough talent to make a SB run. Its one thing to stop Cambell its another to stop Rogers or Breas.
I predicted a 13-3 season, i'm now thinking it'll be more like 10-11 wins Maybe. I just don't think theres enough talent on the Defense to go beyond winning the division.

344 yerds says they did not stop Campbell this is the worst Defense in the NFL but i still have hope for a SB run

The Pats defense made a very positive step today. Are they a great defense. Not even close. But we are 4 weeks into a season that had no offseason where there aren't many good defenses this year. It isn't how the defense is playing on October 2nd, it is how the defense is playing on January 2nd. This defense improved this week and hopefully it will continue to improve every week.

Clearly, you don't understand what a "clean pocket" really is..

The way I see it, there are not more than 5 teams better than the Pats right now so......

Liked what I saw especially with the balance on offense. Brady did seem off on more than a few throws but it didn't seem to matter.

They did a good job on gronk, and I agree we will definatley need more help from the receivers on the outside.

Welker was a beast as usual, this guy wasn't kidding when he said he felt better than ever, they better pay up for him, he is such a hard worker.

I was also pretty happy with the D tonight. There were a few negatives (looking at you brown and guyton) and yes they gave up a lot of yards again, but at the end of the day its points that matter. And once again they showed how much better they are when the field gets shorter. Great red zone play for the most part.

Great team win that I saw tonight. A lot of refreshing things ro take away from tonight. Now on to the Jets! The game we've all been waiting for!

The Patriots defense stopped Campbell today. More importantly, it stopped Darren McFadden. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that (even from the stupid 99 yard drive at the end of the game).

Random thought: What a creepy/weird scene it must be inside Al Davis' box at Raider home games. I think I saw cobwebs hanging of some 90 year old lady's nose when CBS showed the box. Very dour looking group.

Be nice. That was Al Davis' granddaughter. Have some respect.

Other than back to back third down plays. McCourty played well today.

Hey DaBruinz, getting better? What are u watching?Campbell looked comfortable all game long.

Remember we won without Price today!

LOL, it DID look like a scene out of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!!! :D :D :D

holy krist...post of the year ,Rob...I MEAN it....WTF kind of fanbase is this becoming anyway??????

We were leading after every quarter, ended up without Mayo, Bodden, Love and Haynesworth on defense and pulled the hell away, and all you read is how terrible we are, how BB doesn't know anything about defense anymore, blah, blah, blah.

Blowing a big lead is one thing, but kicking ass in the red zone despite many injuries doesn't call for constant whining, sorry. Do they think people want to read that stuff, that they're impressed with how much smarter than BB they are?

Two words, Assclown forum.

and then run for the first down

that's how your sentence should have ended

How many TDs did Campbell throw?? ONE! 344 yards doesn't mean a damn thing. Why can't fans realize that?? Seriously.. 344 yards is BETTER than 416 and 2 TDS, 378 yards and 2, and 387 and 4.

People who can't recognize the improvement are the ones with the issue.

This guy is obviously a fraud troll posting as a pats fan
