TE Aaron Hernandez injury

It blows, but if we get him back after the bye for the Pittsburgh game we can't complain. We should have him for the home stretch.

Is it me, or does he seem to get injured alot?

Maybe he should take lessons from Branch and learn how to go down when the play seems over...the extra yard or two isn't important unless its 3rd and 9 and you only have 8 .....

Rather have him get his 15 yds and not fumble or get injured than an extra 3 or 4 and get pounded and possibly fumble.....

So you think he should take tips on how to avoid injury from an injury prone player who's had one 16 game season in 9 years?

Don't remember how he hurt the hip last year, but in this case the injury came when the DB (Sanders?) targeted his knee. Can't wait for that little midget **** to have his usual season-ending injury. Talk about made of glass.

I think all us fans should send Aaron some rabbit's feet then ;)

Aaron Hernandez, who has knee injury, walked thru the lockerroom and said he felt "great."

Aaron Hernandez just walked through the #Patriots locker room...didn't appear to have a limp

Hernandez walks through the locker room at a brisk pace. Tells me "I'm feeling great."

Great news! Hopefully then it will be close to a 2 week recovery period.

As long as he's ready for the Jet's game.....

Want to make sure Pats get a W.....humiliation would be better, but a W by one point would suffice....:rocker:

It seems like SMY's estimates are closer to correct than Tom Curran's. If Hernandez was 4-6 weeks away from returning, there would be no way he would be in the lockerroom today. Any player not close to returning are not allowed to be in the lockerroom when the media is there.

Like I said, I do NOT trust Curran when it comes to his reports about injuries. He over exaggerates at times.

sorry, missed reading SMY's estimate. Was it 2-3 weeks? thanks,

I don't think it is just exaggeration, I think he sometimes wants to be just different and maybe proved right and he can get his name out there.

I only want him back when he's 100%, judging by the brutal hit on his knee, cant imagine he'll be fine by Sunday or even the Oak game.

He'll really feel it if his foots gets caught and his knee twists, hurst like hell.

Still nothing to get too excited about. Walking or running in a straight line isn't an issue it's the lateral movements and cutting.

What's encouraging is it sounds like there is no meniscus or ACL damage.

hoping he'll be back by the jets game. :rocker:

While I agree that we 100% need him back for the jets game, we can't overlook the bills. The bills are a good team and I would not be surprised if we lost this weekend. On the bright side though, at least we still have Gronk.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with Curran's report. It's been misrepresented on this board.

We have two Gronks!

What did Curran actually say? I only heard what was written on this board, I thought everything on this board was 100% accurate
