Well, if it were a Cowboys fan it would've been a cattle prod....

Video: Football Fan Busts Out Stun Gun At Jets Stadium 9/11 Brawl: Gothamist

How the hell did he sneak by a stun gun through security?....not to mention it was 9/11 and security was supposed to be at an all time high

Unbelievable...but it was a Jets fan involved so.....

It does not show clearly whether the fan was a Cowboys or Jets fan but my money is on the Jets

Don't blame Jet or Cowboys fans for the action of a lone imbecile. They are not responsible. The fans pay for security in their taxes and ticket prices. They should expect better.

However, it's a super good question on how he penetrated New Jersey/NFL/Stadium security. Especially with a national alert in place.

There are plenty of imbecile Jets fans out there...in fact they lead the league in imbecilability (if that is really a word :))

"We're trying to find out from the MetLife Stadium folks what this was all about, but as a fan asks toward the end of the video, how did this guy get a stun gun into the stadium in the first place? Deadspin speculates that "maybe the man in the Cowboys jersey zapping everybody pummeling him was a stadium marshal hired to quickly neutralize stadium brawls so they wouldn't show up on NY1 or YouTube tonight and ruin all the never-forgetting and nationalistic pride." Or maybe the guy just sneaked the Taser past security in his Sta****ware? Developing..."

Not that the above is correct but it may have been Stadium security, as they intimate.

Ridiculous that could happen. I was at the game and it was the same as any old regular game. Besides a few trucks being stopped and searched at the Tappan Zee, the security was weak all over the area, cops and event staff. I figured after the terrorist threats they would step it up.

He was wearing a Cowboys jersey...

Gotta go with Oakland (in a squeaker).:)

My bad if he was a Cowboys fan but are they really that far from being as obnoxious as Jets fans?

If it was a cowboy fan, I wonder how the logic played out in that guy's head. For example: I am going to NJ, and I'm going to the Medowlands, and it's a Jets game, AND it's a good idea to to wear my cowboy jersey, THEREFORE I need a stun gun.

Guess that explains why he didn't use it on himself, a jets fan would never be that smart.

Can't blame a cowboy fan for coming prepared after Ryan essentially threatened them with bodily harm.

I was down there last year for the pats-jets game in NY...God those fans are complete tards. I remember the 70 yr old calling me a douchebag pats fan

Agreed.

Rex Ryan threatened the safety of anyone in Cowboys gear at the game, encouraging fan violence. Not 'shocking' that something like this would happen.

Absolutely embarrassing for the team. You can say 'don't blame the Jets' but it's the team's home stadium, and they are responsible for security - both entrance and during the game. This kind of stuff used to happen all the time in Schaefer Stadium - but not in Gillette.

Well, in fairness to the Jets, Rex Ryan did warn people not to wear Cowboys gear and he told Cowboy fans to stay home or there would be trouble. Unfortunately, this guy had already purchased his ticket, so he took matters into his own hands.

On the other hand, what's it say about Jet fans when gun-happy texans rate their threat level down to a single stun gun? How many stun guns would Oakland rate? One for each hand?

Stun guns are illegal in New Jersey and since the one thing they take seriously is weapons, this guy will deservedly get hammered.

Truly comical when 99% of them are front running Yankee fans.
