It's Pro Football Focus. PFF is crap. The fact that some columnists quote it is pretty irrelevant to that.

I think the only one who finds crowell's appeal to authority defense compelling is crowell.

To be fair, you can't read four posts on this forum without coming across an appeal to authority. At least "In Belichick we trust" is at least understandable, though, since Belichick is a hell of an authority. Local sports columnists... not quite so much.

Actually Wilson was a good player until he was hurt and then they stuck w/ him for a few years, but he never came back.

Tebucky was a specimen, but didn't seem to "get it".

Sanders ended up giving good value for his draft position.

Meri did give the Pats 4 years, that's notable if not great.
