Every player has a role. Clay Matthews is a MVP-type in his role, and tonight, Andre Carter is excelling in his.

Also...the DE in a 4-3 isn't so much responsible for run blocking. That's the OLB's job.

Hey the Bucs finally has a play for Sportcenter.

Thing I keep thinking about Carter: Veteran leadership. He seems primed to lead by example.

Solder looked bad for the first time. But came back strong on the next play.

Fletcher with a thumb injury and not expected to return. Dang...sucks!

Sure.... it's fun to watch the offense and all..... but at this point, I'm almost hoping for a fumble or something. I wanna see more of this defense.

He's a vanilla pass rusher, nothing more. The holes in his game remind of another poor run defender: Clay Matthews.

You are a pretty funny guy.

Only a troll from another teams fanbase would be looking to rain on the Andre Carter pass rush parade

what a game, im streaming it now at [spam link deleted]

I think he makes a better compliment to Chung. Although Meriweather seemingly should be the better player.

I'm not ready to completely give up on Meri simply because the guy has shown many flashes of something special. He was on the cusp of being elite a few years ago. I think that was the advent of all the "freelancing." He started to believe the hype.

If Chung could get better in coverage, he would be something truly special.

Brady getting HAMMERED again.. Welker popped twice... nice work Belichick.

I just posted how much I wanted to see more of the defense as well.

Okay, I was telling people to relax about the Brady thing, but I've watched him get up off the field twice in three plays now. It may be time to yank him. Welker has also been popped a few times now.

Damn, Brady still out there?:rolleyes:I cant wait to see Haynesworth's debut. If he can be at least 60 percent of his former self then this d-line will be ridiculous

Re: Excited for 43?

Andre Carter came out to solidify a roster spot tonight.

Holy crap.

I agree. I know it's only pre-season, but the D is looking downright nasty with the pressure their bringing.

That was the lamest horse color call I've ever seen.
