I heard that Nnamdi is pretty intelligent. That could work against the Green Beans landing him.

Re: Tons of VET O-line still available.

True dat but for 2011 it's a LEAGUE cap floor not a team cap floor.
That said, TB is a likely contender.

Now Jason LaCanfora and Warren Sapp say that Tampa Bay won't get Asomugha. Who knows. Word is the Jets want an answer tonight.

I hope that Nnamdi tells them NO. I'd laugh my rear end off..

Two other teams that could use him are Arizona and Cincinnati..

And, if I was Philly, I'd cut Asante's arse and sign Nnamdi in a heart beat..

**UPDATED NFL FA NEWS**Source: Tampa just made a blockbuster offer to Nnamdi makes him highest paid CB by a lot (Jets scrambling)

Those of you who know or follow incarceratedbob can take this for what it's worth.

Word is the Bucs are offering to make Asomugha the highest paid CB by a ton. I almost want the Jets to match it so we can watch the Revis fireworks begin. The Bucs have nearly $60 million in cap space to play with.

I heard the Cowboys are in play.

He gets some things right (Revis ending hold out, Holmes contract) and some wrong (Braylon Edwards cut). I think he is BS most of the time, but since what he is saying screws the Jets I believe him 100%!!!!:D

I heard the Cowboys are in play.

The more teams the better because that makes it less and less likely that he'll go to the Jets.. *GRIN*

I heard the Cowboys are in play.

Accoriding to Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News, they are along with one or two more possible mystery teams.

Re: Tons of VET O-line still available.

Welcome to the world of the Cap Floor. It's 89% or about 108 million CASH that has to be spent.. They don't have a choice.

lol they're gonna have to start signing al davis deals.

The opportunity to play cross from Revis shouldn't be discounted when it comes to Nnamdi.

Last night he said Nmandi was headed to Seattle!

The question is how much is that worth to Nnamdi? $3-4 million a year? $10 million in guarantees?

Honestly... if all this big money is true, would nnamdi going to the jets be that terrible? How can any team possibly pay all those contracts? Ravis, NNamdi, Dbrick, Mangold, Sanches, Holmes, Harris...

You would have absolutley nothing after that.

The way today has gone we will all wake up tomorrow to find him with a flying Elvis on his helmet.

The only way that happens is if Bodden is cut..And some others...

I heard the Cowboys are in play.

While it'd be better than a divisional rival getting Aso, I'd rather it not be them just to keep Newman off the CB market that already includes both Cromartie and Clements who would all offer pretty darn good #2 CB support.

Maybe 'zona will make an attempt at one of those two in the next 24 hours.
