Perfect timing Brit! As I sat here for the last hour with cup of java in hand prepared to post the updated list -- presto! :bricks:

LOL.

Also, how do we feel about adding an AW to the legend for "attended workout". I noticed that the Pats were one of several teams attending the workout of Tommy Irvin. Not exactly a PW (private workout) -- ya think?

I'm debating changing the legend slightly, there's another that has me perplexed too (can't think who). The Irvin one is strange, it says it was a private work out for the Cardinals and then it says a whole host attended the work out.

Which is it?

It's an individual workout as opposed to a Pro-Day, but I'd treat it as a Pro-Day just to avoid complexity.

V - Official Pre-Draft visit; visited team facilities/hosted by team in area
PW - Private workout held with prospect
C - Position Coach or Coordinator contact
MC - Team has spoken to player or agent or had on-Campus visit; miscellaneous contact
APD - Team official has attended Pro-Day
I - Interviewed at Combine/All-Star game
RI - Rumoured interest

NB: All players in larger font, and Bold, Italic and Underline, have met the "Three Contact Rule". To meet the TCR, a prospect must have three confirmed contacts (RI does not count). The TCR implies that the Patriots are very very interested in them, and there's a very good chance we'll draft them. Don't take it for granted though.

BB attended Florida's Pro Day: It Is What It Is Bill Belichick and Patriots at Florida Pro Day, meet with Mike Pouncey

*These are most of the prospects that the Patriots have either interviewed at the Senior Bowl, Interviewed at the Combine, had a Private Workout, had an official visit or was a pro day coaching contact. The ones I've highlighted are the players I like the most as picks for the pats.

Division II Humboldt State Center Taylor Boggs
”Another team, the scout asked me how I did on the Wonderlic Test to see if I was smart enough to play in their system.”

The test is a standardized questionnaire that features 50 questions which individuals have to get through in just 12 minutes.

The scout was from the New England Patriots and Boggs hopes his 33 score on the test ensured the scout he has the smarts.

”I got to question 46 and the guy told me 'I guess you are smart enough,'” Boggs said.

I seem to recall seeing that OT Orlando Franklin was also in that session with BB at Miami. Rained-out Pro Day and they had a film session instead or something like that.

This should make Box_O_Rocks happy :)

Entirely new game for Klug | TheGazette

Just rumoured interest for now.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — After four years of college, including the final two as a top-tier defensive tackle in the Big Ten, Karl Klug is starting over. Sort of, kind of.

Sunday at the NFL combine, Klug, a 6-foot-3, 275-pounder, said has been asked about linebacker and defensive end.

“I really haven’t heard any D-tackle,” said Klug, who, as a D-tackle at Iowa the last two seasons, piled up 26 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. “Talking to [Iowa strength and conditioning] coach [Chris] Doyle, he thinks otherwise, but me personally, I haven’t heard anything about D-tackle.”

This makes sense given the two teams that have shown interest in Klug, the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots. Tampa Bay also has shown interest.

The Packers could find a home for a versatile body like Klug’s in their 3-4 defense. The Patriots have a model for Klug in Dan Klecko, a 5-11, 275-pounder who played everything from nose tackle to fullback to special teams in four seasons at New England.

...

:singing:
..

And...in case Box missed this:

Several teams feel the same about Iowa’s Karl Klug, but for different reasons. The intense defensive lineman ran in the 4.7’s at 275 pounds during today’s pro-day. Rather than put him on the defensive line, where he played in college, a number of squads around the league project Klug as a Mike Vrabel type of defender in the NFL.

Jives with my own personal philosophy, that there's room for true football players -- somehow...somewhere...you'd like to have them on your roster.
