Bruschi at end of rope

Tedy Bruschi had his patience tried. While addressing how emotional the season was because of his return from a stroke, the linebacker mentioned that this was the end. Bruschi was merely referring to the season, but a Denver TV reporter asked him if he meant it was the end of the Patriots.

â€œAre you kidding me? Are you kidding me?â€ Bruschi said. â€œThink about what you just asked me, man. Think about who we have in this locker room and take that question and get out of my face. Thatâ€™s enough.â€ Bruschi then walked away!

They showed that clip earlier today and emphasized that that question (they said from a Springfield camera man) came right after an emotional speech from Bruschi.

Classy Bruschi

Teddy Bruschi encompasses all that is grand and noble about the patriots! How dare he be attacked with a question like that after obviously a very emotional game. Maybe it's the few beers I had after work, but I know we blew it yesterday, still to insinuate what the photographer did to Bruschi of all people is insulting to all Patriots fans. I was so upset and insulted afrter watching that. I just hope that others are as pissed as I am so that Teddy knows we are all behind him and what he said!!

Sounds like "Teddy" has an anger management problem. He obviously couldn't get the job done on the field last night. I guess he shoulda retired when he was on top?

I still dont understand Buster. Is his self-esteem that low that he has to come onto other teams boards and prove his self-worth by ignorantly attacking other teams (and their fans.) Grow up yet Buster? Does class mean absolutely anything to you?

BTW, if Bruschi is the type that goes ballistic after getting a very reasonable question from a reporter, then he is more easily rattled than I would have ever guessed.

Lost in the loss was an excellent performance from the defense, particularly the front seven, which manhandled the vaunted Broncos running game.
The Broncos were outgained 420-286 and through three quarters had only accumulated 39 rushing yards on 17 carries. Denver finished with 96 rushing yards by piling on 57 yards in the fourth quarter. Five turnovers rendered the defensive effort meaningless, however.
