Over hyped vessel (team), arrogant captain (Rex), expensive seats (new stadium), and few survivors (bandwagon crashed and burned with Tom Jackson aboard).
I will have to do some thinking for a movie title, but here is a title of a book that won't be written, in 2011:
"The 2010 NY Jets, Finally Ending 42 years of No Super Bowl Appearances"
EZ76
Kind of like 19-0: The Story of the Patriots hasn't been written.
"Lord of No Rings" - borrowed from another thread
"Failure to Launch"
"As Good As It Gets: The 2011 NY Jets"
"The Trip"
"Almost Famous"
"Any Given September" (in reference to their annual paper SB)
"D!ckheads on the Sideline" (Angels in the Outfield)
"Bicentennial Team" (in reference to no SB in a half century)
"The Fifth Cheesburger"
"Champions, Interrupted"
"The Jerks"
"Little Big Man"
"Mad Rex Beyond Hungerzone"
"Mission Impossible"
"Natural Born Losers"
"Braggart without a Cause" (Rebel without a cause)
"Stand by Me" by Sal Alosi
Has "Gone in 60 minutes" been mentioned yet?
