Well it shouldn't have come down to this but it has.As much as I want the packers to win, I just don't think they will. And Ben is only 28 and has a shot for several more. Hopefully this motivates Brady much like the celtics are motivated by the lakers winning more championships.

Umm . . . the Steelers didn't exactly cover themselves with glory in that game.

Brady's "motivation" isn't the issue. Roethlisberger has a team around him that can carry the load when he is off. Brady used to have that, and now doesn't. If Brady played like Roethlisberger did today the Pats lose.

Who cares? Why is that important? I've heard that crap all week.

Brady has never been suspended by the NFL.

The Celtics have more championships you ignorant troll.

Only people who consider Ben in the top 5 of all time are Steeler fans which usually consist of

Montana, Bradshaw, Unitas, Graham, and Ben or something like that.

Brady will forever be tied with Manning not Ben he's not in their league.

Meh. Brady doesn't need to worry about Roethlisberger in terms of legacy. I think that's obvious to everyone outside of the Pittsburgh area.

That defense carries them. If Roethlisberger plays poorly in the Super Bowl, he'll really be cooked for legacy. He has played poorly in the first two, save for one good play. Now he'll have to face that sick Green Bay secondary.

no crap, they have one less than the celts. you don't think that motivates the celtics to win more championships to keep distance from the lakers?

Exactly! My exact thoughts. If Brady had Pitts defense, we'd be in the superbowl every year.

ummm... I think Pack will take care of rapistberger in 2 weeks. Go Packers :rocker:

BEN IS THIS GENERATIONS TERRY BRADSHAW

Put ben on the lions and see what happens.

I know I know but still part of Brady's legacy is that he's got 3 sb rings. Seriously, If Ben ends up with say 4 or maybe even 5 that kinda hurts brady's legacy a bit. After all it is about winning.

I wouldn't doubt Meatloaf and Co.

Rodgers has been deadly in the playoffs. Their D is stout. They match up very very well with Pittsburgh. I'm not sure Pitts crappy corners can cover Jennings, Driver and Jones. GBs O-line is physical an can handle the Steeler front 7. It'll be a battle. GB is not Seattle or Arizona.

lol the steelers almost won 4 games without him.

BEN HAS NEVER WON A MVP OR EVEN BEEN IN THE RUNNING....

I don't get the reasoning. Why would it ruin Brady's legacy? Does it somehow make winning a superbowl less impressive? It doesn't. That Steelers team has been great for a long time now. They aren't some cupcake.

I just hope that the steelers don't knock Rodgers out with a concussion....I thought for sure a hit he took today was going to end his season.

well then now were sounding like colts fans pre 2007 when we were arguing that brady is as good or better than manning.

Seriously Ben is a major threat to Brady's legacy. If he wins the most sb's of any qb in nfl history with like 5 which is a very real possibility then that's something he and only he can claim.

because Brady is still in the running as the greatest of all time. if ben ends up with the most sb's ever, than he might be argued by the media pundits and fans across the league as the GOAT. Even brady said it himself,"great quarterbacks are measured by winning and winning sb's."

Do you currently think Bradshaw is tied as the best quarterback in the history of the NFL? There is your answer.

I anticipate getting flamed to no end but you have to give BR some credit for the wins, you do.

He got outside the pocket and made some plays....that's all I am saying, he got outside the pocket and made some plays (don't read that I think Brady can't cause he did and can).

Ben is a big strong guy and he is a playmaker with guys on him. I can't remember what analyst said it but I would hate to coach for and against him.

He has his style and it seems to be working out for him (albeit with some help from the d for sure).

I am willing to give the kid some credit....I am not going to be rooting against him if he ties Brady's ring count, if he does so what, he does.

The kid has made mistakes and may be rough around the edges, time will tell if he gets on track. But his style of play, however erratic, along with the D, is getting him some wins.

The Packers are gonna be a tough out and that D will be physical with Rodgers. They best be working on some protection for that dude in a couple weeks....
