Y'all know...this thread shouldn't even started in the first place. The mod need to delete it. If the Jets were suck, they shouldn't had beat us twice and playing in the AFC championship game. If I'm a mod, I should banned the person that started this thread!

well I started this thread..and if I were a mod, I'd ban you for saying anything good about the jets.

Re: J-e-s-t

I think their loss this week will hurt just as much as ours did. HAHA to them. I also hope Sanchez gets hammered again.

Re: J-e-s-t

I hope this keeps going. The steelers crush the jets and send them back to no-superbowl-ville and hope that Packers beat the Steeler!

Re: J-e-s-t

I think it really shows that we are -close- with our D, but there just isn't that next gear you need to shine in the playoffs. I really think we're an impact D player away.

The Jets don't suck.
The Steelers are very good.
Costantly jousting with the Ravens makes them that way.
I hope the Jets do the same for the Patriots in time.

So, does this diminish the win last week, do ya think? :D;):D

Yeah, when you factor in the Pats are picking TWICE in the first round of the draft before them...i'd say it diminishes it big time! Oh, not to mention they have NO superbowl to go along with that draft slot:)

Add to that half of the jets' active roster will be FA this year, and they had to trade away a lot picks in this upcoming draft to get them, things do look bright for us in the future

I wish that was true, but no way...

Patriots were the CLEAR favorites to go the SB. Brady was the NFL MVP, we led the NFL in Pro-Bowlers, we had the best record in the NFL (14-2), we had a historical year in ball protection, we had the #1 takeaway defense in the NFL, we were playing at home, we were had it all lined up perfectly.

But nope, we lost. To our most hated rival.

The Jets on the other hand made the playoffs at the #6 seed and have been underdogs in every game, most fans will take this season as a step in the righ direction with beating the Patriots making it worth it all.

Sucks, but that's what it boils down to. General feeling I'm getting is most Jets fans while having short-term disappointed will overall be quite happy with their season considering they ruined our shot at #4.

Who cares if the Jets lose, they already won their Super Bowl last week. They also won it in week 2 the year before. Back to back champs!

We should all chip in a buck or two and send the Jets organization a little trophy for beating the Patriots last week because obviously that game mattered more to them than the AFC Championship...really we should be flattered!

Really? I'm already over our loss. That hurt nowhere near some of our other playoff losses. This was a season of low expectations. I'm sure if I pulled up a smattering of your posts I would see how low the expectations were all year.

Jets fans on the other hand are living for this season. This is their season and there will be serious questions if they can't do it this year. This is it for them and will be two years in a row of losing it in the AFC championship game. Its not like teams regularly make it to that game every year. It would be a much more devastating loss for them.

Jets fans are a bit crazy, so maybe they will take it hard. But they really shouldn't. They're fortunate and overachieved quite a bit just to get this far.

They had no realistic shot at winning the Super Bowl. We did, and we blew it, and that's why it should still hurt more.

It would have to say Patsy Lombardi on it.

Re: F. The jests!!!!!!!!!

I feel ya bro !

They mortgaged their future for these last 2 years giving up picks for players who are now FAs who will want a lot more money that they can pay them...

and what do they have to show for it??

Another loss in the AFC champ game and LT crying LOLOL...

so how screwed are the jets next year? How many picks do they have for the 2011 draft? How many players are going to be FA this year?
