I didn't realize the foreshadowing until after the game, but Saturday night I tried a couple new drinks, one very, very blue, one very, very purple. 4 hours before gametime on Sunday I pooped very, very green. I thought it was funny at the time as I didn't see it as a sign of what was to come. I was pooping green, and gang green was going to poop all over my heart. :(

No no no, you guys are all wrong. It was me.

Right before SB42, I bought a new plasma tv.

Right before SB42 my wife dropped and broke my favorite Patriots coffee cup

The night before SB42 my son somehow crushed me at Madden.

He was 11.

This curse has gone on long enough, I think (hope) karma is ready to call it even.

Think it's time to throw away the plasma, my man.

I knew it when my wife sat with me to watch the game from the beginning

Damn ! can't live with them... can't live without them ... :bricks:

I told my coworkers (one Jets fan, one Steelers fan - ugh  ) they were going to blow them out - and neither has stopped giving me grief about it all morning. So it's my fault.

Perhaps I'm the biggest culprit, I usually watch the game alone and fold laundry, this time My Girlfriend watched the game with me and helped me do my laundry. :bricks:

Sorry guys. My bad.

On a positive note - Does anyone really understand how good this team can be next year?

agreed.... good to read a post with some optimism in it.... if i told everyone at the year that we'd end up losing in the div round of the playoffs i think most would of took it and ran... i know i would have.... they blew away most everybody's expectations.... definately mine.... i think we have a couple more superbowls under our belts in the near future even with the team the way it is, nevermind with the 6 picks in the first 92 (or sumthin like that) in the draft. especially with the first 3 in the first 33. If we were able to get an elite pass rusher our d would be competing for tops in the nfl... guaranteed. were only one or 2 pieces away from winning 2 more bowls imo, as long as we get them while we have brady. i honestly think he'll go down as the most sb winning qb of all time.

I bought my Hernandez jersey shortly after the first Jets game. I never removed the tags. I removed them on the trek down to foxboro on Sunday.

A couple of hours before game time, I had to move my laptop, and somehow it fell out of my hands, and fell about an inch or two, and the USB adapter for the mouse broke. Not a good omen.

Then again, it's not nearly as bad as what happened to me as I was driving home during the 2005 PIT-NE game. About 60 seconds after Rodney got knocked out for the season, my car's engine completely died on me. :(

My son Tommy was conceived the night of SB 42. I'm really sorry guys.

It was my me and my girls fault...I was wearing my new Patriots pajama pants instead of the lucky old ones....and she wasn't wearing her Patriots thong at the start of the game like she always does on gameday :(

I was wearing my Patriots shirt all day Sunday but after game started, I realized it was the one that I last wore when they played the Browns. I changed but damage had been done

Wore my unlucky Welker jersey with the 2007 SB patch on it to try and dispell any playoff demons that there left over from 2007 and last year. I figured there was no way they would lose this game. :bricks:

Should have worn my Brady Jersey.

Sorry guys but I may be the biggest offender :(

I invited one of my best friends over for the game - he's a jets fan :bricks:

I apologize to you all I hope you can find it your hearts to forgive me :(

No lucky beer in the house.

I was 14-0 with Erdinger in the house this season, 0-3 without.

I tried to have some available but had to rush back from the airport and missed the first quarter, and the beer store was closed. :bricks:

Sorry son - a Jets fan? I don't think I can forgive that :beatingcoming:

Well I'm going to buck the trend. It wasn't my fault.... It was my wife's fault..
When I came home Friday night from work she took me to the laundry/fitness room where she had just finished hanging a Life size Tom Brady Fat Head!!!!!
I had a bad feeling the minute I saw it but didn't have the heart to take it down.

I guess it is my fault after all!!!!!!:eek::eek:

Man is my fault, instead of watching the game live, I recorded it a day before (I never missed games) and went out for grocery shopping just as the game started. I was basically watching the game like 10 minutes from live :(
