Anybody Else A Packers Fan Now?

I'm sorry for your loss, I was sure it was going to be a Packers/Pats SB.

Thanks for the kind words about our team. Before the Eagles game, I thought if we had won that game, we would go to the NFCCG. Well, now I'm think if we win the NFCCG, we'll win the SB.

And Aaron Rodgers is a gentleman and a class act - met him several times.

Finally, you know how much you guys hate the Jets? Imagine that x100000. That's how much we hate Chicago, what with the longest standing rivalry, close proximity, and fans thinking Jay Cutler is a Top 5 QB.

And not to mention the girl I'm trying to date is a Bear fan.

Probably true. Many Bear fans are a-holes (and Im sure Bear fans would say the same about us--but its not true

No problem. I was thinking yesterday it sucks for Aaron Rodgers because this would be HIS year if it were not for the Patriots. So much for that, I guess it IS his year. Anyone who sat behind Favre for that long has my eternal empathy.

Still hate the packers for 96. The Bears for 86. I can't root for any team left. I won't be watching any more football until next season.

I don't think thats true. I will say that while Packers fans hate the Bears with a passion and vice versa, and I would never say this directly to a Bears fans, for the most part they are fairly classy. Vikings fans are a bunch of obnoxious bandwagon jumpers. Saints are similar to the Vikings. Eagles fans are passionate and loyal, but can get out of control/violent. NFC East has some good rivalries between pretty much any two teams in the division (esp Dallas-Washington is a HUGE rivalry). Just to name a few.

jets have a very good chance of beating the steelers who are banged up and cant protect ben. bears too can beat the packers.

Ok I know i'm against the grain on this but i'll throw it out there:

Steelers would beat both the pack and the bears. I don't want Ben tying Brady for sb rings. Jets would match up well against the bears but could have a hard time against the pack. So, i'm rooting for the pack and i hate to say it the jets only cause i know they'd lose to the pack in the sb.

i guess you didnt learn not to root for the jets ...lot of people here did assuming they will lose in the next hurdle.

To be clear, I'd be fine w/the Bears winning too (although Cutler sounds like he's a punk). Just think Chicago would get trounced by any team from the AFC.

Concerning the Mike Florio article on PFT bashing Rodgers for "snubbing" a cancer patient trying to get an autograph, the fan has spoken up and is "shocked and upset by comments critical of Rodgers's actions at Austin Straubel airport". In fact a week earlier Rodgers autographed a jersey and a few years ago he signed a number of items for her. Mike Florio is the one thats coming out looking like an *** in this one.
