Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Respect...

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Neither for me.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

i think less of our team as a whole on days like today, but they should bounce back. this one is almost impossible to swallow. Jets are simply, uneducated thugs.

Sanchez really blew today.

16/25 194 3 TDs :)

Crap, I just don't have it in me to even try to debate that right now. Sanchez played a hell of a game today, and if he wasn't a ******* Jet I'd actually probably kinda like the guy. But he is a Jet, so **** him. I don't need to make sense, d%#*!@t.

I can't disagree here. Sanchez has been a better playoff QB than Tom Brady.

In fact, a lot of quarterbacks have been a better playoff QB than Brady since the divisonal game against the Jaguars in 2008.

Classy post.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

The duo of Rex and Sanchez are now 2 for 2 going to AFCCG. You have to respect that.

See you next year.

Agree. The only people I hate on the Jets are Bart Scott and the former Chargers Cromartie and LT the class man. I seriously couldn't me more furious that they are happy. I have respect for Ryan despite his talk, and Sanchez has shown improvement. You have to give it up for them.

congrats to the slob and his idiot minions from hell. May the terrible towels wipe the collective grins off your faces..

Neither....

eff the Jets.

0 respect before, 0 respect afterwards.

infinity hate before, and you can't go higher than infinity.

The Jets outplayed and outcoached the Pats. They were clearly the better team today. Kudos to them.

Now let's go Steelers!

:)

I like this post the best!

Congrats on the win today, but it'll be a dark day in hell if someone like LT, Braylon Edwards, and Antonio Cromartie gets a Super Bowl ring on his hands.

Good luck to the Packers, soft spoken team and under the radar playing the best football of their lives in this year's playoffs.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

I respect some of them and hate others.
They were the better team tonight. They played with more emotion and more fire.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Have the Jets earned a little respect with this win in our place or do you hate them even more now??

I respect the fact that like an increasing amount of trash talkers to the Pats, they backed up their words with their performance and beat us,trash talkers have done well against the Pats and backed it up more and more often the past few years, trash talking does not mean the Pats will embarrass them like they used to do in the glory years.

....gotta respect that no matter how disgusting the trash talking got...I respect them a tad more now.

With that being said,I would rather watch paint dry next Sunday than to see the 2 teams I hate more than any others face off to go to the Super Bowl

HATE em more. period. I will take my hat off to them and their fat blowhard of a coach tonight. They outplayed and outcoached the patriots.....period. That having been said....I am a steeler fan next week and then a GB or CHI fan after that.....and I will continue to despise the jests.....

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

... its the lack of respect that fuels this team ...

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

No. I can't stand them. Never have. Never will.

They played better today. That, I give them credit for.

Congratulations to the Jet's from me.

I don't think they played better but I think they made more big plays than we did and their defense played hard on every play. It's easy to look back on mistakes and say we should have won. They were the better team today.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Neither. I can't really hate the Jets for a bunch of sloppy self inflicted wounds. The Pats could have just as well lost by 20 points with the way they played. They didn't "go out swinging" as Darth Vick might say. It looked like the Jets wanted it more the entire game, and they got it. There were not any game altering dumb calls from the refs, and nobody of significance suffered a freak season ending injury. The weaknesses they hid behind mistake free play all season came to the forefront as soon as they started making mistakes today... and they unfortunately got a very early start on that endeavor. Jets minimized their chances of making mistakes and capitalized on nearly every Pats blunder. That's what it was going to take to knock the Pats out, and they did it before anyone else got a chance to. I wouldn't have been too confident about this team playing someone like the Packers in the superbowl.

How can you not congratulate the Jets on such a great game. A good old fashion @ss whoopin. As a football fan I can get behind that. I think all the chatter sort taints it for me as a purist football fan, but great game by them and they definately deserved to win.....

I don't know how you can congratulate these guys. Some of them gave one and two finger salutes to the crowd after the game. They don't deserve to be congratulated, respected or admired in any way.

Re: Do you respect the Jets a tad more or hate them more?

Respect those douchebags? Absolutely not. I hate 'em as much as always. The Colts have earned my respect over the years. If the Jets can lose and win with class then maybe I'll inch toward it, but with the likes of Cromartie, Lady T, and Bart Scott I'll always hope for the worst for them in their careers.

Jets played well enough to not lose.. the Patriots on the other hand.

Congrats to the Jets. They did what you need to do in 50-50 games.. win.

Very well said. Congrats to them. There defense played very well tonight. Secondary contained our WR's.....BB did not do enough to utilize our TE's and overall our Offensive playcalling was pathetic. Their front guys got good pressure on Brady and kept him from getting in a rhythm. They exposed Brady tonight some I think....that if you rattle him early and continue to bring the pressure.....you can get him to become skittish, stiff/tight and conservative. Their offense DIDN'T MAKE any bad, costly mistakes overall and had a few big plays........and like you said....did enough to win. BB did a horrible coaching job tonight...from benching welk to the fake punt.....to poor clock mgt in the 4th.....and on and on......
