the Steelers? You want the rapist to get a 3rd ring?

Hope the Jets win. Who doesn't want to see them fall flat on their face on the biggest stage?!?!!

They won't beat the packers.

You have convinced me. Ready for the Sexcrimes bowl next weekend then go Packers. I felt they are the best team and would have beaten the Patriots in the SB anyway.

Oh yeah, GO PACK!!!

Everyone has been saying that the Jests can't do this.....and they won't be able to do that with Sancheese on the field,.......etc etc,......and what have they done? Kept moving forward and on.......I think if they get to SB....they will win it......

Re: Pathetic Loss !!!!

No excuse...None

Hi there, I'm not a pats' fan, I just registered to make a lone, single, post to most of you spoiled, spoiled brats. Most of you pampered Pats fans don't deserve Brady, Belichick, Kraft, etc. No excuse? How about no excuse for booing your team at half time down by 10? Your team, loaded with rookies and undrafted, system players on both sides of the ball, with about 16 picks in the next Draft, overachieves MASSIVELY on what is a rebuilding year (and should be one of two or three), and you're so utterly spoiled that you have the nerve to get on your team's back?

I'd love for Belichick to pack up his sh*t and remind you that before him, you were nobodies. You were the New Orleans Saints, pre-Brees. And judging by the posts here, you deserve to go back to that.

Bye.

They talked all the trash and came into our house and shoved it down our throats. All the talking and mind games worked perfectly. Benching Welker, all the cute plays blowing up in our face, their defense shutting down everything we typically do.

Brady was deer in headlights, the entire team got sloppy, pathetic... another lost season.

Not going to get many more golden opportunities to be in a position to win another super bowl. Were looking at what amounts to 6 solid tries at a SB and we came away with 3. 07, 06, and now 10, all perfect posisitions to get another ring... and we come up short.

I'm pissed, but it seems the way to beat the Pats, talk loud, intimdate, and come playing like you have nothing left to lose.

BB got out coached.

Re: Patriots are not tough enough

Brady DID NOT CARE, he showed no emotion, didn't not try to rally the team, did not try to fire himself up! He stood there like a deer caught in headlights.

Agreed, Brady looked confused most of the game, made bad decisions, and got frustrated way too early.

Get your point. I am actually okay with the loss. I just hope we don't trade all those picks. Look, we were with a rookie at left CB, undrated player at right CB, no pass rush...and still ended up 14-2. Great future for this team. Jets shooting their wad as they have a ton of guy's contracts up. Pats fans...don't get too down. We are in it every year...cannot win the Super Bowl all the time.

The jets did this with a second year QB.Sanchez maded enough plays to get the w.This makes me sick!!!!I thought this team sealed its doom to start the game!!!They had no urgency to get off to a fast start!!!

I don't know about everybody else but I would like to see some shakeups in the coaching staff (no not BB), Some vets added that know how to win and some speed on the defense. We need to stay healthy this offseason and be ready to work come August. This team was a bunch of overachievers this year but we still have a bright future.

Well said.

I think Brady took a step backwards tonight in all the talk about him being the greatest of all time. Yes, he had a terrific regular season........but he has not been getting it done in the playoffs for several seasons now.....He seems to have a flat affect out there in the bi....just doesn't seem to have the intensity when they need it in the big games......Now he couldn't do anything about the f"in receivers dropping all those balls tonight.......man....i am so bummed

And maybe not the Brady pick. Thoughts anyone.

Brady is frequently given credit for his fine mechanics (deserved). How were his mechanics on that play?

Yes, that was only one play, as was the Crumpler drop, etc. -- but it was several plays by individual players that were poorly executed. BB said pre-game that in the playoffs plays are magnified. That statement was evident throughout. The Pats just didn't do enough to overcome poor execution.

I give the Jets credit for being a tough opponent on both sides of the ball.

The Pats weaknesses were exposed. The O-line, pass rush, and stretch-the-field ability will be addressed this off-season.

We need to stay healthy this offseason and be ready to work come August. This team was a bunch of overachievers this year but we still have a bright future. Character issues be dammned, Vincent Jackson would be a great aquisition IMO. Big body WR, who has GREAT hands and matches up well with a guy like Cro or Revis. Branch looked to be getting manhandled out there.

Oh yeah, GO PACK!!!

that's what I was checking to see, who you guys would be pulling for now...

Packers are a great franchise. Hard to hate on the Packers...

In this Draft, we need nothing but DLine... You add another monster DLineman, and our secondary would be sick.

Of all the ways this season could have ended, this was the worst... Jets have effective made us root for the rapist!!! :(

I heard Brady and Peyton are good friends off the field. I guess his playoff exists are rubbing off on Brady. We are all to familiar with Peyton choking like this.

Now I Have to endure Pats Haters at work tomorrow :ugh:

I dont know if this team while young has it in them to get to a superbowl. They looked flat. You never say that about a BB team but they did!!!It was a dissapointing loss. Its not like the jets killed this team.

agree, some thoughts:

1. This game was not as close as the score indicates. If they lost those 2 fumbles as they should have this game would have been a blowout.

2. Jets have been on some run the last two years & it's hard to believe how they could talk so much crap and actually back it up against the no. 1 seed, maybe they knew something we didn't,

3. This teams goes as Brady goes, until this changes we're just like the Colts. The old Pats had a defense that could carry the team to victory when Brady was less than his best, no way this defense can do that,

4. someone was killed on here for suggesting that this defense was over reliant on the turnover and for suggesting that turnovers are hard to predict, well he was right and all of you that called him a troll were wrong, because the reality is that while the defense didn't lose the game it was/is incapable of winning most defensive struggle type game (ie. 17-14, 21-17). This defense needs turnovers or for the offense to be clicking on all cylinders to be a "good" defense. Is it the talent or the schemes that are lacking? I know injuries are a burden, but they are a burden for everyone. Is this defense capable of shutting down a Brady offense the way the Jets did today?

5. As someone already pointed out, THATS 3 PLAYOFF GAMES IN A ROW where the pressure was too much for Brady. Do we blame the offensive line or Brady's seemingly lack of composure?

I didn't need to see them win the SB.....but gawd d%#*!@t at least beat those loudmouthed jests......IF we do not somehow establish a pass rush again and get some DEPTH there as well.....we will not be winning a SB for awhile. Our LB and secondary is coming together.....but we need SOMEONE to put pressure on the QB......IF we could have gotten anything on Sancheese....he would have made some errors.....
