I can't stand squealers fans

I think this is a stupid challenge, considering there are 59 minutes and 49 seconds left in this game. Even though the challenge was successful, I just don't think it's worth 14 yards of field position, even in a defensive minded game like this one is supposed to be.

Some final previews from a Baltimore paper:

Mike Preston's Ravens-Steelers matchups - baltimoresun.com
Steelers LB Lawrence Timmons vs Ravens TE Todd Heap: After missing several games due to a hamstring injury, Heap responded with a strong performance against Kansas City a week ago. He was the Ravens top weapon in the middle of the field. The Ravens like the matchup with Heap against Timmons, and the Steelers won't back off initially because Timmons is athletic enough to cover most running backs and tight ends one on one. But if he can't, the Steelers won't hesitate putting safety Troy Polamalu on Heap. Edge: Even.

Steelers CB Bryant McFadden vs. Ravens WR Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason: The Ravens move their receivers around, so there should be enough of McFadden to share. As quarterback Joe Flacco has developed, the Ravens have added more to the passing game like crossing routs. McFadden is the cornerback every team picks on and he will get lit up several times on game day. Edge: Ravens.

Steelers WR Mike Wallace vs. Ravens cornerbacks Josh Wilson and Chris Carr: Carr and Wilson are small, but have outstanding speed. They have played well in the second half of the season, but haven't faced any receiver with the speed of Wallace. Regardless of what is working on offense, expect Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to take a couple of shots downfield to Wallace. With that kind of speed, you have to take chances. Edge: Steelers.

Ravens-Steelers: 5 things to look for - baltimoresun.com
BALL SECURITY: In the Ravens' three road playoff losses — two against the Steelers — they lost the turnover battle decisively, by three giveaways each time. In the championship game loss after the 2008 season, Joe Flacco threw three interceptions, was sacked three times and had a passer rating of 18.2. Flacco has come a long way since then, but if he is rushed, if he is hit and if he is sacked, the turnovers will come. In a game between two very even teams, turnovers are probably the single biggest factor. Ray Rice hasn't fumbled the ball all year, so the Ravens are good in the run game. This season, the Ravens' had a franchise-low 20 turnovers. Now is when it counts, though.

FIND BOLDIN EARLY: The Ravens traded for wide-out Anquan Boldin for a reason, even if it didn't seem that way at times during this season when he disappeared from the offense. He is made for the playoffs, made for the Steelers' rivalry, made for the red zone. Big, strong, sure-handed and devastating in the middle of the field, Boldin gives the Ravens an advantage they haven't had in the postseason. No matter how reluctant Cam Cameron is to call pass plays over the middle, no matter how comfortable Flacco feels with Derrick Mason, the Ravens have to get the ball to Boldin early. It will open up the offense more than anything else.

MEET IN THE MIDDLE: Because Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is more dangerous outside the pocket than in it, the Ravens have to be careful how they attack him in the pass rush. Haloti Ngata should win the battle with first-year center Maurkice Pouncey all night. Terrell Suggs should win the battle against left tackle Jonathan Scott most of the time. So that means the Ravens have to bring pressure from the left side to cut off Roethlisberger's escape routes. Whether that's corner blitzes or with linebacker Jarret Johnson coming free, it needs to be persistent. The Ravens have learned this lesson far too many times.

DETERMINING FIELD POSITION: The Ravens gave up nine touchdown drives of 90 or more yards this season. Imagine how many more touchdowns the opposition would have scored if the Ravens' kicking game didn't provide such excellent field position all year? The Ravens can't afford to give Pittsburgh a short field — or the ball at their own 9-yard line like they did on Dec. 5. Billy Cundiff has been superb with his 40 touchbacks and Sam Koch terrific with his 39 punts inside the 20. The weather will be raw and ugly in Pittsburgh and the kicking will be harder. But it is no less important this week.

MAKE THE RIGHT CALL: Coach John Harbaugh had the worst of his three NFL seasons challenging on-field calls this year. In nine challenges, he got only one call reversed. That was brutal. The process must be refined in the postseason, where he had three reversals in five challenges in his first two seasons. Clock management hasn't always been a strength under Harbaugh, but it needs to be now. Bad clock management — or poor use of challenges — can end the season.

Scouting report: Divisional playoff: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers - baltimoresun.com
Ravens run offense vs. Steelers run defense: Ray Rice's two lowest rushing totals of the season came against the Steelers. He rushed for 20 yards against them at Pittsburgh and managed 32 yards against them at M&T Bank Stadium. Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron hasn't shown a commitment to the ground game against the NFL's top-ranked run defense, giving the ball to Rice a total of 17 times in two meetings. Fullback Le'Ron McClain is back after missing the last meeting with an ankle injury. Willis McGahee has scored four touchdowns in his past four playoff games. No running back has gained more than 87 yards rushing against Pittsburgh this season. Behind leading tackler Lawrence Timmons, Pittsburgh shattered the team record for rushing yards allowed per game (62.8). Edge: Steelers

Ravens pass offense vs. Steelers pass defense: Joe Flacco is starting to figure out the Steelers defense. In his past four games, he has averaged 244.5 yards passing, throwing five touchdowns and two interceptions. Flacco's biggest problem has been holding onto the ball against Pittsburgh. In seven meetings, he has fumbled eight times and has lost half of them. It will be a challenge to block edge rushers James Harrison (10 ½ sacks) and LaMarr Woodley (10). The Ravens can counter this with quick passes over the middle to tight end Todd Heap and wide receiver Anquan Boldin, who combined for 15 catches for 172 yards in Sunday's wild-card game. Flacco picked on Pittsburgh cornerback Bryant McFadden in the first meeting and he should be able to do it again. The key is picking up safety Troy Polamalu (who is dealing with an ankle injury) when he blitzes and avoiding him when he drops back into coverage. Starting center Matt Birk has missed two practices with a knee injury, but he is expected to play. Edge: Ravens

Steelers run offense vs. Ravens run defense: Rashard Mendenhall's rushing totals and average per carry dropped the last two games to end the regular season. His strength is producing big plays (11 runs over 20 yards) and punching it into the end zone (13 touchdowns). Mendenhall hasn't made much of an impact against the Ravens, averaging 57 yards rushing per game and three yards per carry against them in his career. Pittsburgh's tendency is to run the ball to the right side behind guard Ramon Foster and tackle Flozell Adams. But the Ravens will plant Haloti Ngata over there to stop the Steelers. Although the Ravens weren't sharp early against the run in Sunday's wild-card game at Kansas City, they won't have to face the same speed with the Steelers. Stopping the run remains a long-time strength for the Ravens, who haven't allowed a running back to reach 100 yards against them in 14 postseason games. Edge: Ravens

who is everyone rooting for?

Flacco locking in on Heap on the first drive.

Anyone know what those things are on the back of Ray Rice's arms? It looks like something medical, but I don't know how to really describe it.

Mr Classy Hines Ward in a scrap on the very first play :)

Hoping for a war of attrition between the two...

Hines Ward is a ******* idiot.

STUNNED heinz ward just got flagged.....not because of the call itself....cause he always gets away with that crap
