Are the Jets a cornered animal?

look he could of called rex ryan a big fat ******* moron, and i wouldnt care.

yes rex and his wife put the tapes out there, but where i come from atleast... you dont insult peoples wives, or poke any sort of zinger toward them.

Wow, let me know when you decide to join reality.

No where did Wes insult Rex's wife, and suggesting he did insult his wife is simply lying.

His constant foot references where probably little digs at Rex, who has the foot Fetish.

No where does he insult his wife.

And your suggestion of such is pathetic!

well especially since welker insulted rex's wife..im sure you all know eric smith has no issues with cheap shotting somebody. (like smith did to welker week 2)

Rex's wife should be insulted....

but why would Rex care when he let's other men play with her feet?

Jeez buddy, you guys are being a little sensitive, no?

If this is all they said all week and it actually 'offended' anyone, that's pathetic.

Kind of seems like a bit of a double-standard. All week long the jets run their mouths about just about every single imaginable topic, and finally late week, someone says something back (basically encoded, at the worst it was a subtle 'shot' ) about the subject known as 'footgate' (lol). You had to have imagined other teams' fans and media persons talking some smack about the whole foot issue when the story broke a month ago. If you don't admit that, you aren't being honest.

I thought New Yorkers were supposed to be a little more thick skinned than that.

Your team chose to start a bunch of smack talk, and one tiny little innocent comment is now insulting another man's wife? Wes is a prankster, he chose to innocently and very subtly take a shot at the easiest of so-called 'stories.'

At least try to have a fair point of view if you're gonna go on another fanbase's messageboard. Best of luck to you and your team.

Inexplicably, Jets fans are already angry even BEFORE the game starts...go figure

It's obvious that the the jawing of Ryan and Cromartie have done nothing but add pressure upon a Jet's team - that despite an unlikely wildcard win off the foot of Nick Folk, finds itself back on its heels when it sets foot in Gillette Stadium.

Are they dangerous? Only in the premeditated injury department.
Expect dirty play.

I think they are. kind of like:

lets try that again:

The Jets are NOT a wounded animal. A sick, weakened thing, desperately clawing for some sort of repose from their afflictions, well perhaps.

Definitely not a wounded animal.

I would pity them, but that would require some sort of recognition of their sufferings, and a modicum of empathy from me towards their situation, which I simply do not have.

The Jets, like the Yankees, are a product of the New York sports scene, every part of which is loathsome and repulsive to anyone with more than a 3rd grade education, and an IQ above 70.

The Jets? They are loathsome creatures and should they, by some cruel twist of fate prevail this weekend, it will only be because they found a way to bribe or cheat and procure another Willy Wonka golden ticket to the AFCCG.

I hate and detest all things New York, but more especially the JETS, and were a comet or massive asteroid strike the earth, with it's epicenter at New York City, though it destroyed the planet I would go to my death satisfied that those cretins in green or pinstripes were the first to feel nature's wrath.

^^^^Epic post:rocker:

how am i coming off 'angry' ? trying to have a civil conversation, but i guess it's really impossible on a message board.

Nobody made fun of BB when he cheated on his wife with another married woman, destroying not one, but two marriages! Leave Rex and his feet alone! ;)

Why would you think that

Despite all their rage they are still just Rats in a cage.

Actually Belichick's issue with Merriweather is that he has trouble controlling him, not that Merry does what Bill tells him to do.

So what you're basically saying is Meriweather is an out of control ICBM that went haywire when mission control (Belichick) input the coordinates into it?

Jesus. Look at the amount of diabetes in that fat ass crowd.
