Nobody said concussion with him. Said he was out with a head injury. He was up and grab-azzing all game with no trainers around him for most of the game . He was jawing with Brady 3-4 times on camera. No way he'd have done that if he was concussed.
Appeared to me to be a mild concussion or borderline concussion. The fumble occurred at the instant of the helmet to helmut contact, nobody hit his arm or the ball, suggesting he almost blacked out.
But on the sidelines he looked better than most guys that have had concussions. I saw him smile a couple of times, which you never see. He was standing not sitting. He really looked normal.
So something definitely happened but there's reason to be hopeful that he'll be ready in 2 weeks.

I heard the same interview and I was at the game with a good view of the bench and he was fine. He was joking with everyone and at one point looked like he was lobbying to go back in.
Over in La La Land aka Jets Insider, they have Woodhead out with a concussion and are all speculating how they wont have to worry about him when they play us in 2 weeks.

Great news! It was just not worth it to put him back out there in a meaningless game last week. And with him out Belichick could play some games with the injury report.

This is great news. I was there Sunday when he got hit in the hole, and was hoping it was not as bad as it looked. This confirms that it likely was not.

Funny how I've have gone from who the hell is Danny Woodhead........to stressing out that he'll be playing next Sunday!
Man I am glad we got him...not yet to the level of BB's comments to #37, but he is a great shifty reliable playmaker that teams have to legitimately game plan against.

Good to hear...although he didn't look all that hurt on the sidelines in the Miami game. They were clearly erring to the side of caution. Plus, he's had a lot more snaps and taken more hits than any season in his career. He go warmed up and then a little dinged up. No need to press the issue.
I'm guessing that if the Miami game had been a meaningful game or a playoff game that he would have been cleared to come back in.
