OT: Rex Ryan foot fetish? (merged many times)

Not open for further replies.
Tripgate ocurred 1.5 weeks ago, not on October 19th.

Accidentally typed 10/19 instead of 12/19 and edited, but apparently not quick enough to avoid correction. ;)

1/31: Rex Ryan fined $50k for flipping off Dolphins fans in public.
8/1: Darrelle Revis begins 35 day holdout.
8/11: Immaturity of team documented on HBO Hard Knocks series.
9/13: Offense fails to score TD at home as Jets start season 0-1 after huge off-season hype.
9/22: Braylon Edwards arrested and charged with DUI.
12/3: #1 seed on the line, lose 45-3 to the Patriots on national television.
12/19: Trip-Gate: Sal Alosi fined $25k and suspended for season.
12/22: Rex Ryan's foot fetish videos staring wife makes mainstream news.

Quite the season.

You forgot to add the Inez Saenz sexual harassment flap.

I cut them some slack there since it didn't happen under Ryan's watch. Favre would of sent pictures of his feet instead if he was in charge.

Good call on Inez Saenz, forgot about that. Certainly should be added.

Actually, it was 12/12. Sorry, man. ;)

Rex Ryan is an idiot. He calls it "a private matter." But the fact is he allowed those videos to be put on the world's most public video website. That's as boneheaded as you can get.

He didn't come to kiss BB's rings because he came to kiss BB's feet.

Why do the mods merge all things jets into one thread but let this crap about the obsession for a womans feet dominate the main forum?

Mods...do it one way or the other...this has little to do with the pats or the NFL

Poor job,by the mods on this story and on this website in this case IMO

I am surprised Ian hasn't moved this crap yet

This is NOT news worthy and has nothing to do with the AFC East either.

they are doing a great job merging these foot threads, and have shown very good judgment in letting us have a thread on it, even though it is technically not about the mechanics of the game, but off the field antics.

You are being a stick in the mud, it is definitely newsworthy, and more importantly it is worthy of much comic relief.

This is reckless behavior by Rex and his wife. Eventually this will turn into a firestorm when the swapper aspects become public on the MSM.

I feel sorry for the kids, depending on their age this could be very damaging to them.

If all of this becomes public his career will be destroyed.

It's reckless behavior yes, BUT there's no way to be into this lifestyle without doing it in the fashion they are doing it. Swingers get outed all the time because it's a public thing. Someone linked to a site discussing this and you can see them get angry at the so-called sleuth who outed the Ryan's. It's supposed to be an open but tight-lipped community apparently, and it reminds me of the Anonymous Hackers going to battle for Wikileaks. One of them had some personal info coded on one of his attacks, and now he's reviled by the entire Hacker community.

Me, I say, maybe the fetishist who outed Rex just hates the Jets. In this case, he's sports fandom took priority over his oath to the fetish community.

The point is, being a voyeur/exhibitionist/swinger naturally means you advertise on the internet.

Can you imagine if the Jets win the superbowl and Vick the MVP? The superbowl champion coached by a wife swapper and the MVP an ex-con. Nice job cleaning up the league Goodell!!

So which tee shirt would make a better xmas gift for a Jets fan....

Re: Rex Ryan Foot Fetish Videos & More (merged many times)

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh. Only cool for hot chicks, man. With other hot chicks.

(Whatever you do on your time is fine by me so long as you don't hurt anybody, but that is just way too much information.)

You guys are out of touch. I come across a lot of young women these days who get into it. Go to a college campus, you'd be surprised. We had a dominatrix living above us one year, nice girl, prim by day, a violinist at U Michigan, then did her thing. For many of these girls it's a step up from stripping. It pays well.

The more I think about this story, the more I think it is indicative of why Rex Ryan may never be a great coach. I don't care about the substance of the story. It is immensley humorous and will give some great punchlines for Ryan and the Jets for years, but it really is a non-story.

The story is though is the wreckless behavior of Ryan. It is just another in a long string of controversies for him and his team and just shows that the guy is too wreckless to be effective over the long haul. Most of these controversies would have been avoided if Ryan wasn't so loose and wreckless. Whether he gave the order or not to Alosi, he is at fault for that because he should have control of his sidelines. The sexual harrassement of the reporter should have never happened and definitely not encouraged by Ryan. You look at the cheeseburger incident during hrd Knocks and you see he lets the inmates run the asylum.

Players love to play for Ryan because he is fun and he gives his players a lot of freedom. What makes him fun to play for is probably why he will never be truly successful at the job though. You gotta think a coach like Belichick would have that team as the odds on favorite to win the Super Bowl right now (and not before the season) with all the talent they have. I do think a lot of their talent is overrated, but I also think a lot of their talent is wasted because no one is teaching smart football and how to maximize their potential.

The superbowl champion coached by a wife swapper

To be fair, there's nothing wrong with this as long as all parties are consenting. Ryan being a fetishist is not wrong and he has every right to be.

However, a professional football coach having a profile on a sex site available to the public, including pictures of his naked wife and requests for other men to have sex with her IS wrong.

The fact that Roger considers that "personal issue" is a joke.

How is it more wrong for two married people to agree have group sex, than it for two married people to commit to monogamy and than violate the agreement?

Because plenty of coaches have done the later.

If you are not going to have a monogamous relationship, at least be honest about it and agree to terms. Rex and Michelle have not violated the trust and commitment they made to each other. That is a lot more than I can say for a lot of married (and divorced people)

I disagree with you. I think the NFL's response is proper. It's not the NFL's job to enter this territory at all.

I'm not saying that the general public won't have an adverse reaction, but that can't be what controls this. Put it this way, what if a NFL player was a devout atheist who believed Christians were the root of all evil, and what if he constantly talked about it? What is Goodell going to do?

Is he really going to pull a David Stern? (as in the Chris Jackson -- Abdur-Rauf case)? I don't think so.

This falls under: none of the NFL's business.

All the fallout will come from the fans, players and Jets management, not from the NFL office.

This.

Rob, you encapsulated the whole meaning right there.

Anyone who read Steve Lavin's excellent book Management Secrets of the New England Patriots knows right there that THAT is what this story comes down to and is really the only substantive issue. Efficiency.

An undisciplined mind is the center of all this. He'll probably last this season and past next year, but he won't be around much longer than that. Too much of an ingrained way for Rex Ryan.

The other thing that no one has brought up is that, professionally, the REAL loser in all this is his brother who will probably NEVER get that chance at a head coaching job now - - not because of the fetish thing, that's neither here nor there, but because of the whole driving around turns at 90 mph style and lack of focusing on details that has been shown by not only Rex, but the father Buddy. Rob Ryan will get the short end of the stick for guilt by association.

Who is the victim when a couple both decide they want group sex?

When someone cheats, the person being cheated on is the victim. There is no victim here.

Why did Big Ben get in trouble when he wasn't guilty of anything?

All he did was embarrass the league, he was not found guilty of anything.

I offer you my sincere apology that this thread, with it's 362 posts in 36 hours (merged down from 13 separate threads), the subject of which now has coverage on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, ESPN and Sports Illustrated and that, YES, is affecting the time management of the braintrust of the Patriots' closest intra-divisional rival is still appearing on the forum as one of over 30 threads on the first page.

On behalf of the volunteer mods of this website, please accept our apologies and we'll try to do better by you in the future, PatriotsFaninPA.

(P.S. BTW, this subject IS confirmed by the principal involved and being nationally reported UNLIKE the imaginative conjuring done by the thread originator in this one: http://www.patsfans.com/new-england...-fred-taylor-quietly-unhappy-new-england.html)

You could say they are our arch-enemy :D

Seriously, shmessy is my favorite mod ever for all the work he's done on this. Like he said, its everywhere. They played segments of the video's on Today and Good Morning America. Get the stick out of your butt and enjoy our arch-enemy being mocked nation wide! :rocker:
