But other than that he tends to run his mouth more than he can back up these days.

What? The dude rarely talks and when he does he speaks in caveman, monosylabic tones. He basically states what a guy should say. Do you want you D leader acting like a p*ss?

Also, have you seen him play this year? The guy is just lighting it up. he missed all of last year with a freak wrist fracture. This D would be nothing without him there.

I love how one guy comes on and talks trash for the bears and you judge their entire fan base, criticize our history, and go down to his level of "trash talking"..

Honestly, that shows the class of most of you guys.. Not everyone goes onto other people's boards looking for trouble. I've come to this board to see what Pats fans thoughts were on this game and how they thought their offense would match up against our defense. The majority of Pats fans i've come across we've seemed to have intelligent conversation, but now that seems like a diamond in the rough.

Just because this guy and CuriousGeorge represent the idiots that we could probably agree EVERYTEAM in the nfl has (especially on forums) doesn't give you the right to label the entire bears fan base/franchise. Thats basically saying since Hitler was german than ALL germans are evil and twisted like he is.. WRONG.

Learn to have some respect for the rest of the community before you jump to conclusions.

I actually liked bigdog. Guy was funny. CuriousGeorge just sucked. I don't think that there's anybody in this thread (at least) that is labeling all Bears fans as scumbags. I will say that you guys definitely come in force, though. I can't remember the last time that an opposing out of conference team brought this many new members to the board. And I've been here for a while.

Eh, I called them out earlier in this thread. I guess I expect to see Jest fans flooding and trolling the boards, and the Bears fans came here in similar numbers (I agree, a lot or an NFC team, but that's fine) with a similar number of knobgobblers. There have been a few good Bears fans for sure, but I guess I got spoiled by the mostly great Saints fans from last year (who had all the reason to talk serious smack and didn't), and expected the same from the Bears fans. Oh well.

But, in any event, I think I've been the only one who called them out based on what I've seen on this board. I find it interesting that Bears fans really are zeroing in on my comments. They're no more inflammatory than what I've read being said about the Pats. :confused2:

Ahhhh just like the good ole days...

Trolls and morons from this weeks sacrifice...

Rattling sabres and whistling past the grave yard as they try to bolster their waning self confidence with false bravado.

A few will return to eat crow. Ususally the ones that actually tried to talk football and rationalize how their team has a fighting chance.

Most will slink off only to be replaced by the next set of trolls and morons....and so it goes.

This last week was the best. Was there ever a loudmouth team that deserved a beat down more? My co-worker was incensed. "Why was Brady still in there? "They should have tried to break his legs."

I simply said, "They were running up the score." No apologies. It's good to be a Patriots fan.

C'mon, the guy is the benchmark by which all current and future Tampa-2 Mikes will be measured by. He was put on this earth to play that position in that scheme. He is literally textbook perfect for his scheme. He's earned the right to say whatever he wants and that defense is ballin out. This game isn't going to be as easy as a lot of people think.

easy, bears fans......don't get all jiggy on us......I was just posting what was on PFT......

It's funny because that move that brady put on urlacher a few years ago

I don't think Brian will let that happen again. I hope Brady doesn't try it again.. because you know Urlacher probably hasn't forgotten that tricky move Brady pulled. It would be hillarious if he did it again to him though. :singing:

I would definitely gif that. I would also have a new avatar.

Nothing Urlacher said qualifies as trash talk... What do some people expect him to say?

For the record - I registered after reading some Pats fans stuff on Pro Football Talk. "They can't all be this goddamn smug can they?" I asked myself. Why yes, apparently they can be.

That you guys are so starved for reasons to get up for a game you are pointing out Urlacher's boring and mild comment -and ignoring the Pats slobbing that followed from him - just goes to show what happens when you are a perennial contender and multiple super bowl winner - you become sanctimonious di**s,

Good game tomorrow - no Injuries - BEAR DOWN.

Did the thought ever cross your mind that there are true fans out there that are just interested in discussing the game with their next opponent? Comparing notes, getting some insight as to their opponent's strengths and weaknesses that aren't created and exaggerated by the media? Damn, man, your arrogance in this post is almost as ridiculous your "rattling sabres" and "graveyards", Captain Cornball.

So peace out, Pats fans. Don't want to become a troll and posts like this one just annoy me. Thanks for the really interesting insight, you guys know your sh*t, and I wish the best of luck to you. :rocker:

unpreDITKAble was that guy. Most of the rest of the Bears fans? See the post before you, and half the other posts in this thread. That's the garbage we hear from opposing fans that come here. I'd say about 10% actually come in here to talk football.

I wonder what your views are/were about "spygate" and Brady's injury. If they are/were anything like most people out there, you'll have your answer as to why Pats fans are defensive and willing to give the big "go **** yourself" to other teams' fans. Just my two cents.

Also, you should note the irony of your post.

Bumpity bump. Fresh-picked New England crow.

I can't wait for Sunday. I'll be freezing my tail off in the South endzone, then catching a quick flight to Boston to warm up with a night with Nikolai's mother. I'll blindfold myself, and get falling down drunk, but its the cheapest night around. You guys are in for a surprise on Sunday. This isn't the kind of surprise you get when you look down while taking a leak (the "aw, shucks" variety). This surprise will be more along the lines of the Bears turning the Pats out. I don't care how many Superbowls you Sony Camcorder-ed your way to, this is a different time. Look for the Bears to work you over and send you back to that wretched hole you call Boston.

Where is that little Hush Puppy now? :biggrin2:

Urlacher said this after the game, from NBC's Sunday night show...

We got our butts kicked, they are the best team in the NFL.

At least he realized his mistake.

bigdog0707 is a real genius. I wonder how it was working out in the South End Zone at the half when the score was Patriots 33 - Bears 33 yards total offense. I like our wretched hole we call Boston and look forward to redecorating with a copy of tomorrow's Boston Globe.

Bye-bye, Bears trolls. Hope you enjoyed the game. :D

You were right it was easier;)
