Urlacher's comments are not trash talk but they are amusing. Here's a guy on a team that barely beat the Lions last week and had to rely on a questionable call (Suh's "personal foul" hit on Cutler) to win. Meanwhile, the Pats blew the Lions off the field in the second half on Thanksgiving. This Bears team lost to Seattle and the Redskins at home. The Giants physically dominated and humiliated the Bears and the game was nowhere near as close as the score.

The Bears get credit for beating a good Eagles team. They can play well and this game should be close.

With me, its not talk, sport. You coming to Chicago on Sunday? I'll go toe-to-toe with some queen from Rhode Island any day of the week. I'll roll up anyone that wants to discuss this in the parking lot...especially some fruit from R.I.

Wow...the kid sounds pretty tough!

He must be working out on the internet...maybe using his wii a tad too often. It tickles me how some people from certain parts of the country actually believe people are tougher where they live.

Hint: People from Chicago aren't any tougher than anywhere else....ok poopsie?

... Where exactly is Belicheck taping the practices from? Is he doing it from Halas Hall, or will he just wait until we do our official walk-through on Saturday?

ha-hah! a troll who thinks his team is that good for BB to tape. keep hoping.

newsflash kiddo - considering that even your cheerleaders look worse than our grandmas, no use taping anything from your team or from where you claim to come from.

Guess it would be too much to expect you to write about the game. Bye troll.

Gonna be a good game on Sunday, neuronet. I'm not sure on the record question. I'm sure you can just have Belichick review the Bears' coaches tapes from the past millenium.
Meanwhile ask Lovie Smith about his most famous quote "Wrecks is are quarterback"! What a pathetic first round draft pick that was!

To me, there is nothing better than reading a post from a bitter (and sad) opposing fan. You want to be able to take something away from the Patriots Tom Brady, Robert Kraft and Belichick but no matter how hard you try, you can't.

All the Patriots organization has done over the last 10 years is win...WIN! Swallow that with morning coffee and like it because it's the best you and your little "da Bears" fans are gonna get.

Gather your families (aunts, uncles parents and especially your children) this Sunday. Oh, and don't get your popcorn, get your hankies ready!...and maybe some soft tissues for the kids!:D
He is probably some 18 year old who has way too much time on his hands!

I see you are playing hooky from high school today. Your parents know you are not in school today?

Wow. Bigdog0707 is not from dabears.com. I can assure you. Neither is CuriousGeorge. Just sayin.

Honestly I don't care what pats fans or bears fans think. It is irrelevant on Sunday.

I do think, based upon matchups, schemes and talent level, that the Bears have a good chance on Sunday, but I also think that the Pats have a better chance. The reason is because the Bears are more likely to beat themselves than the Pats.

I'll say it again, if the Bears don't beat themselves in this, the team with the ball last wins. If the Bears do play stupid, Pats win going away.

An away game after a big MNF win, with the resultant short week, is a bad set up. It gives the Bears an edge, and that weather could make passing difficult, which would certainly be another big edge to the Bears. While I expect the Patriots to win, it's as much because I expect Cutler to give the game away as anything else.

I agree. It is a bad set up, with the short week coming off a big win. It isnt really a trap game, its just that the Bears are a pretty good team, but they arent as good as their 9-3 record. They are on a 5 game winning streak though, but have only beat 1 real playoff team during that stretch.

Urlacher is a great player, I'm a fan. I read the comments he made and no way that's trash talk. He's just getting pumped and saying they have a chance, which is true, and is what a team captain should be saying.

I like the Bears. Great franchise with a great history. Most of the Bears fans I've met are true fans and good guys, with the exception of the inevitable few douche nozzles like in this thread.

Anybody have an animated gif of Brady juking Urlacher?

"Blizzards" in Illinois are considered like 3 inches of snow. I live here, i know.

1 inch or more of snow at the wrong time and everyone craps their pants and forgets how to drive. Traffic gets backed up and it takes hours to get home.

It's funny that some people are acting like there will be weather that the Patriots have never experienced.

No, but this one was classic.

You chicks consider this trash talk? Come on. What did you want Urlacher to say? Should we just roll over and submit to the almighty Patriots? The Browns didn't. Your whole fanbase needs to be taken down a peg or two. A few days of sifting through the trash on this message board forced me to sign up. You guys act like you are the 80's 49ers or something. Where exactly is Belicheck taping the practices from? Is he doing it from Halas Hall, or will he just wait until we do our official walk-through on Saturday?

You know how to poke a pig, don't you? Where are you from exactly? The 2000s Patriots are precisely the 1980s 49ers, dipstick.

The 1980s 49ers went 14-3 in the playoffs, the 2000s Patriots went 14-4.

49ers - 4 Super Bowls - Pats 4 Super Bowls. 49ers 4-0 in Super Bowls, Pats 3-1.

Regular Season Records: 1980s 49ers: 104-47-1, Patriots: 110-47 (eerie)

Avg. margin of victory: 1980s 49ers 7.4 ppg, Patriots 6.9 ppg

There's more, but I'm bored.

Reply when you get get your head out of your ass so we can hear you admit to being a doofus.

You clearly are another one of the ignorant who didn't understand that there was no "cheating" going on during "Spy-Gate." All spy-gate was about was the Pats having an additional camera at a place that the league had not approved. That's it. Nothing more.

BTW, SFBs, the Pats didn't win the SB in 2007, but putting up 16-0 during the regular season and 18 straight that year is something that no other team has done. And it was all done despite the BS.. OH, and I have news for you. The Jets were filming the same way the Pats were. And many other coaches came out and said it was much ado about nothing because there was no way to watch it and get it decoded in the minimal amount of time they had.

Something for you to think about while your fat arse is sitting in the basement of the tenement building of your mom's apartment with tin foil on your rabbit ears trying to watch the game. The Patriots are 10-2 this season. It's a rebuilding year for them. They've got 4 rookies who have started on defense. They have the YOUNGEST defense in the league averaging just over 25 years of age.

So what if the Patriots cheated? Belichick's record since Spygate is the same as before Dante's kid got caught.

(Dante shoulda taught his kid how to wear camouflage or something. But ya gotta love what he and Josh McD did to ruin the Broncos - Thanks Boys!)

If I remember correctly Spygate made the margin of victory even more embarrassing in 2007. A little us against the world is what Belicihick can use better than any NFL coach.

Keep yapping Urlacher!

I'm curious as to why Bears fans think the Bears match up well against the Patriots. The Pats have shredded better defenses than the Bears and contained better QB's an offenses than the Bears. Hell the Bears even run simple schemes on both sides of the ball.

Just where is this magical match up advantage for the Bears?

Mainly on offense. Think Peyton Hillis and a smashmouth running game, plus track star receivers and kick returners with great hands and a QB that can get them the ball. I don't think we've played a team with so many dangerous offensive weapons all year.

Besides the Browns, the Jets in week 2 are the only other team that was able to run on us--resulting in 2 losses. Forte is as good as they come.

And it seems like we've done faily well against creative blitz/man to man schemes run by teams like BALT PITT and the JEST. Lovie's "bland" Tampa 2 isn't automatically an advantage for Brady IMO, as some have said.

If were able to strike early and often, da Bears will fold like a deck of cards. Otherwise, it's going to be a war.

Anybody that calls that trash talk needs to get out in the real world for a while, like a couple of years at least.
