OT: COLTS fans asking for WHINning to be traded ...

I don’t ever recall a stretch like this from Brady. His worst is he throws a few at people feet but this is something very different and worse.

True, it's never been this bad

Manning had NEVER thrown 11 INTs in a 3 game stretch. The closest he's been to that?

He had 11 INTs against 3 TDs the first 4 games of 1998 (Rookie season.):bricks:

No kidding. When you have a fan base that's enjoyed a decade of spectacular QB play and wins by the bucket, a lost season is tough to cope with.

That said...11 interceptions in a 3-game stretch is seriously brutal. What IS up with Peyton?

1. Pathetic running game.
2. Pathetic blocking along the O-Line.
3. Injuries to his binkies (Clark and Collie).
4. What I honestly believe is severe tendinitis in his elbow.

As mentioned previously, manning cannot be traded, he wants his money and i dont know if the colts want to pay him. but they HAVE TO PAY HIM. hes going to want more money than brady, BUT THEY DONT WANT TO PAY HIM BECAUSE HE IS PLAYING UNDERNEATH BRADY'S LEVEL OF PLAY, but the colts dont have anyone else and that team is doomed without manning BUT MANNING IS GETTING OLD AND WILL BE 35 NEXT SEASON.

honestly i can see this getting messy, if manning really wants to be a free agent and get the most money and the colts decide to franchise him for what will end up amounting to about 4-5 million less per year than brady, he will be super pissed.

With the way the rest of the colts team looks, paying manning 20+M may not be the best decision.

Then again, he's all they have

It could be a good time to rebuild, but in today's NFL I dunno. Any middle of the pack team (which is what the Colts are right now) can have a good draft/offseason and be right back in the hunt for the SB. IMO, they've got to find a way keep Manning another 3-4 years at least.

How about they franchise him then use the highest draft pick they've had in years on a QB? Now that would be popcorn-worthy!

It is past the trade deadline. Manning is an UFA next year. Manning not the Colts have refused to discuss a contract. Manning might not be a Colt next year, but all they will get is a 3rd round 2012 comp pick.

Sign the beast!!!!!

......we need a sure handed holder.

Manning is definitely on the back nine of his career--nobody will dispute that. Is he done? Only of fool would say that. If I were a Colts fan I'd be much more concerned about about

1. Their defense playing horribly
2. Their having no ability to rush the football whatsoever
3. Their O-line
4. The fact that an implosion is taking place, it appears that Manning can't stop it and is in fact (obviously) making it worse by forcing the issue so much

So the Manning vs Brady debate is back on chill for a while now???

The Colts decline began when they were ORDERED to lay down against the Jets and Buffalo last year. There is bound to be a serious repercussion when you force a bunch of highly competitive individuals to take their eyes of the greatest prize in the NFL, an unbeaten season capped with the Super Bowl, when it was seriously in their grasp.

I love the post about Wayne being terrible, and hoping he goes in FA :)

That is brilliant :) Near as good as the game thread on their board for the superbowl :)

I would assume they would franchise him. But there was a rumor on a Colts board that Peyton and father Manning want him to sign with the Saints and finish his career there.

Just one problem with that scenario.
The Saints don't want or need Paaaaayton.
