Keegs - you tell your buddy you are not covering for him and that's the end of it.

What's the matter with you anyway? Your priorities need to be set here and now.

Leave the job if you must, but you cannot miss the game.

Get sick tomorrow, very sick, take some of That syrupy stuff that makes you puke and projectile vomit all over your desk or boss.

I mean there are many ways to get out of work - you have three days to figure it out.

If you need help - ask away.

No seriously, in this case the 'old tech' will work. Just VCR record that sh*t. 99 cent tape at walmart. It's on TV across the country, just record it and watch it when you get home from work. Refrain from watching ESPNews or checking this site before you watch and it'll feel just like a live broadcast.

Try 4tv.com

They list ESPN as one of their channels.

thanks for the suggestion, but it's another one of those cases where it's an "espn" channel but only plays soccer.... it's espn star or something, ive seeen it on a lot of other free internet tv sites...

i tried it last monday and saw soccer it might be a recording

I've watched a couple of MNF games using the TVU player but that would mean you would need to download the software for the player. Could you download the player, watch the game using it on the computer at work, and then delete it?

If not I have no other suggestions.

Since you need to be on a computer all day, can you not just bring your laptop to the nearest bar that has the game on? ; )

Man, I know the solution to your problem. I utilize the tuner card aspects of my graphics card, split my broadcast off my Tivo box and feed to the PC, give you remote access permissions through a secure p2p so you have desktop privileges, you watch the game (dealing with my pauses, replays, ff...etc) from the luxury of your desk. I have the bandwidth, the capable video card, and then some.

Oh wait. I don't know what kind of work you do. Your computer job may be tracking copyright infringement lawbreakers for the feds, in which event I would succeed in giving you not only the game, but all evidence necessary for my indictment and future conviction.

Darn, sorry dude.

What you could do is pick you up one of these to go along with one of these and watch your own TV at home over the web. Return them the next day for a full refund.

Good luck.;)

no i don't work with the feds..
i also have no idea how to do what you wrote in your first paragraph....
if i didn't have to download anything id be down with it

Otherwise, do what I do during games that I can't watch: Tune in a radio to Gil & Gino on the "Patriots Rock Radio Network" (stations all over NE), and open a window on your computer to nfl.com and click on the play by play updates of the game. It gives constant updates of the action after every play and shows where the ball is on a cartoon map of a field.

Keegs... fgssand is right. Jobs come and go, but Patriots Football is forevah. :D

Or take his other suggestion and bring a little of this to work. Blow enough chunks all over the place and they'll be begging for you to go the hell home.

This is nothing short of a test of your fanhood. Don't let us down. :p

I don't mean to preach, but you should not have put yourself in this position. People, ask yourself, how many schedules do you have strategically situated for frequent reference so that during the fall, no commitments made until schedule consulted. In my case, there is the wallet, car visor, wifes car visor, one each of the three offices I work out of, one each in favorite places on any of the 5 computers I work with, not to mention having the damn thing pretty much memorized by week 8. That about covers it for me....

Hell, in my family, we celebrate conflicting holidays and birthdays on Saturdays during football season.

LOL Ipecac syrup - that's the ticket.

Keegs - you have been called out by the group.

What will you do?? We know you probably have a wife and little children to feed, but that won't cut it in here.

We all await word on what and how you manage to watch this game, you must watch this game, you cannot miss this game......you still have about 56 hours to figure it all out.

I just need a godamn internet site that has the game...
One has to exist.

I can't download any programs either and probably can't get off......
and im tired of that old dude on the radio calling Reche Caldwell , David Givens.
