I'm sure he'll be claimed higher, but...

there's something hilarious about asking yourself, in all seriousness, "Would I rather have Merriman or Crable?"

Think this is the weirdest waiver wire in NFL history?

When do we find out what team mossman is on ( or whether noone picked him up and he becomes a UFA).

I heard 4 o clock from someone just making sure.

Worth a workout at least to see if he has ANYTHING left to offer in 2nd or 3rd depth - he is no longer a player who is starting caliber

If BB thinks he has some of what he was and he is off the juice, I say yes.

His injury could have effected his play and he won't be the first guy to rehab his carrer under BB. He could be a good fit for our type of D.

If I had to choose between Merriman or Randy right now I would take Merriman.

I don't believe that they actually cut Moss until today which would make the time we find out 4 pm tomorrow.

As for Merriman, I doubt he last till us. I just hope he doesn't end up on the Jets.

Two years ago he was all the talk of the NFL. AT 26 and two years later the guy is yesterdays new. I don't see BB signing him.

Merriman might be claimed by someone, but he will be playing for the BC Lions next year. Maybe he'll have an NFL comeback when he's 30.

You mean like SD did for 2 yrs and found he does not . It seems he has gotten slower and tubbier.

This guy is flat out terrible now, a shell of his former self & a grade A D-bag, he would make a perfect Jet!

I love our team chemistry, why bring in a potential head case who sucks but still thinks he's god's gift to football. ( AD 2.0 )

I remember the last time San Diego said a defensive player was done.

He ended up being the greatest safety to ever for the Pats!

Just as soon as BB signs him we will all be throwing rose peddles at his feet.

Merriman hasn't been the player he was when he was on steroids. Maybe bring him out for a tryout and see if there's any of the old Merriman left.

There is no LB on our current roster that I would cut to make room for him...


He's nowhere near his earlier play...injured more than healthy...

I would take him for 3rd down pass rushing situations and back up. But I would not claim him, try to sign him being a FA
