No Respect: Patriots Ranked Behind The Ravens Despite Beating Them Sunday

I think its a fair assessment.

If King is ranking Baltimore over the Jets because they beat them he should be fired.

But he's right:
The reason I've got New England fourth instead of second is because of how I've always tried to do these rankings: If New England played Baltimore on a neutral field in Wichita tomorrow, I like the Ravens.

This is not a NFL rating, it's Peter King---should not that be in the header. I'm sure he has his reasons. I wd put Pittsburgh first, but after that it's kind of subjective, i think. (i guess you cd even put the giants in the top 5)

Flat out wrong call. Should be (much as I hate to admit).

1) Pitt

2) Jesters

3) Pats

4) Baltimore

This is just cats being coy and not wanting to say what they really feel. King thinks that the Pats could win it all, but because everyone else is not saying it yet he clams up

Who cares about rankings....if we're getting no respect despite winning games, it truly is like old times. I like it.

The important point is we are the one team with considerable upside potential on that list.

On our current pace, we will be considerably better than those teams by December.

Where's Rodney Harrison when we need him.

This ranking is even worse:

As a result of beating Baltimore, we DROP out of the top ten.

To be fair, I think this isn't the most current rankings. Note the date of the article: October 12. This was after the Pats' bye week, so teams had a chance to jump around. The records are current, but clearly the movement is based on Week 5, not Week 6. (Nothing about yesterday's game or anything like that.)

Besides, I'm a little suspicious when Da Bearz lose and move up five spots. :D

Those rankings are disgraceful! The TITANS are a better team than the Pats!? What could possibly be the logic behind dropping in rank after beating the supposed number 1 team in football? The loss of Randy Moss? Branch in one game has better stats than both of Moss' games in Minnesota combined.

Embrace the hate I suppose...
