??????????????

Yeah.
......

What number do they have in their loss column? Is it a zero? Ok then.

Can and will be beat.

Patriots will beat the Ravens like a rented mule.

If you want to crown em. Go ahead. We may not be the best team at the moment. But, Tom Brady has only lost one home game since we went to turf in 06. 23/24. Only loss the playoff game to Baltimore. But, we did beat them in the regular season at home.

well put. remember, they are a good team but we've beat this team 5 to 1. we've owned them over the years. They have improved but so have we. I cant wait to see how they fair against these TEs. Lets go hernandez and Gronk

I think we'll beat the Ravens this week.

Yes, without doubt. If we can stop the run

yes....if you can stop the run on d....and run on o(at least late)...they have to find a way to win time of possesion against this D:confused::confused::confused:

Belichick will take away the biggest strength and the Ravens will be the run... stop the run and keep letting flacco beat us... he will get his yards, bolden will tourch us.. but if we stop ray rice and the running game, we have a chance... plus the game last year should serve as motivation...

If the Pats win the turnover battle and can force a few punts, they'll win the game. If not, it'll be a very frustrating game to watch because Baltimore will constantly convert third downs on this defense. I no longer hope for three and outs from this Pats defense, I hope for mistakes by the opposing offense. I think Flacco can be baited, but if Baltimore's gashing the Pats for 125 yards in the first half baiting the QB won't matter.
Baltimore's giving up 101 yards a game on the ground. If the Pats can get to that number they have a fantastic shot at winning. I remember back in 03, the Pats rush offense wasn't that great, but Weis or Belichick, can't remember which one, said sometimes a good running game isn't solely based on yards, but on ATTEMPTS.
If they can pick up positive yards running the ball on first down then the THREAT of the run will be there. If we see Green Ellis, Taylor, Morris, or whoever constantly getting negative yardage or no gain and leaving the Pats in 2nd and 10 or 3rd and 9 (because we know how the Pats have always LOVED to run after and incomplete pass on first down) it'll be a long, long game.

Because this is the first game without Randy Moss (and to a lesser extent with Deion Branch), Baltimore won't have a clear idea of how we're going to attack them. On the other side of the ball, I expect our defense to play with a lot of confidence coming off the Miami game, and force a couple of Baltimore turnovers.

I predict we beat Baltimore 28-20, and rise to number 3 or better in most Power Rankings.

They lost to the Bungals and struggled to beat a Charlie Batch led Steelers. So yeah, they can lose.

And Ngata hurt his knee while playing offense against Denver. It doesn't sound like it's major, but that defense has a very different look without him playing at full speed.

Not to mention the Browns hung with them for a while. This is a good team and always a tough game (even in 2007 they almost beat us), but I don't get where this idea that they're unbeatable is coming from.

Can they beat the Ravens, yes, will they? dunno.

What I do know is that winning this game sets up the rest of the season. The Pats are going to be chasing the Jets for the rest of the year, last night was the last best chance for the Jets to take a loss (the have Denver, a beaten up GB, Detriot and then Cleveland) for a while. If the Pats can beat Baltimore, it would put them in the driver's seat as far as the division goes. It is one of those wins that it is great to have in the bank (as far as tie breakers goes), can they still make the playoffs if they lose, yes, but a win would be HUGE!!!

Absolutely not, we should strongly consider just forfeiting this week and moving onto the next. The Ravens are the greatest team of all time.

I don't think close games vs. division rivals really show how good/bad a team is. The Dolphins can be 3-9 and we'd still have a tough game against them.
The Bills are one of the worst teams in football and they took us to the wire in a close shoot out.

Can the Ravens be beaten, but they are one of the most complete teams we will face this year.

If Tom cuts his hair the Ravens will be very confused.

I think that it depends if we can dink and and dunk them- mix in the run- a chew the clock, it willbe a very different game. Tom will have to get rid of the ball quickly.

I think that if the D limits the rushing yardage to 100 yards or less, Flacco is not having that good a year.

I just want to see the defense get better and better each week. I want to see them fight and come together.

I also think Brandon Spikes needs to lay someone out the way Bryan Cox did way back when.

This team needs to come together over a brutal hit.
