BB and the FO have to be looking at this as addition by subtraction. That's the only way it makes sense.

Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...

the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!

What the f*ck happened to the Patfans.com I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest season of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Tate and Welker, we might get in disapointed." Well just kiss my arse from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Ryan, he's a dead man! Saprono, dead! Chan...

Dead! TGIAGH right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

We're just the guys to do it.
Let's do it.
*Let's do it*!

Toga! Toga!! Toga!!!

Whatever did happen to Ryan the Colts fan?

I think we'll be okay but I have a feeling this Baltimore game is going to look something like Denver in '06.

Except that our defense won't be able to keep it respectable.

F it, may as well just be a repeat of last year's wild card game.

In which Moss played.

But Welker didn't. Might not be an even tradeoff but I'd imagine the impact will be similar.

Hernandez, Tate have to step up big...

Yes

I can't wait to see opposing defenses lighting up Welker because there is no longer a deep threat.

its not over , never was. If the organization thought it'd be we would've resigned moss to 2 year deal and skip all of this. coach is a mastermind at moving people around. It was super having Moss, but it had to end somehow, sucks its this early. The show must go on!

The season cant be over with BB and Tom Brady . Thats for sure. We went to a AFC Championshio 21-3 lead with Reche and Heath Evans in twins formation .

But its clearly a hiiigh and tough 12 games. Only 2/3 of them are again not playoffs teams . and again the best QBs in the league( Manning , Rodgers, a renewal Cutler who sithout pass rush can torch us) etc

Season's not over, but I don't see how this is an upgrade.

This puts the spotlight not only on unproven guys like Tate, Edelman, and Hernandez, but also for the vets to pick it up a little bit more.

The key is O'Brien. How is he going to devise his scheme without the biggest x-factor in Moss?

Exactly. People who see this as an upgrade are delusional. Season is not over technically but I'd be curious what happened to a NE SB odds in Vegas after this.

We were a mid to lower tier playoff team with Moss and we're still a playoff contender without him.

well since there is no more Moss Welker is going to be in double coverage. But i think this would bring the team together and that could produce wins.

Wow!! How quickly we forget. We went 11-5 without brady not to long ago, the most important player on the field. I know we missed the playoffs that year, but 11-5 is a pretty good season. We will be fine and the pats will suprise us once again. Keep the faith!!

Odds logically should go down. It should be interesting to see what kind of action this gets in Vegas.

As far as our offense goes, the transition from having someone like Moss stretch the field, to now having no one on offense that defense have to fear going deep, should be interesting. What does BB and OBrien have in mind?

The most encouraging part about all this is the fact that our running game has looked pretty good and we've shown a commitment in running the ball.

Yeah I guess we were doomed when we won our 3 Superbowls without Moss  The dude is nothing more then a distraction at this point, we don't need someone to run a post patern 40 times a game. The Pat need to get back to what made them successful in the first place.

1) Consistant LONG drives with running and dink and dunk passing to own the TOP while wearing out the opponents defense and resting ours

2) We need a WR who brady can throw.. moss is invisible unless it's a long bomb.. that's just a waste of space that cannot produce consistancy. We have the weapons to make our offense even more lethal without him. Obviously they will have to tweak it but he is not the end be all. He is nothing but a tall WR who cant break tackles, cant catch the ball over the middle, cant run short or intermediate routes and is basically one big distraction for the defense.... and Tom Brady who has been regressing as of late with his eyes locking in on Moss regardless of whether he is open or not.

3) We have finnaly got our running game going and continuing to have to throw a WR out there that can only run deep destroys alot of our options sine we have been using many 2-3 TE sets. We need people who can get open.... and there a plenty of WRs that can do just that.

4) This guy wants big bucks and he just isnt worth it, he is a distraction for the coach, the team, the QB.. **** just look at this last game we had. We dominated the dolpins an the questions and theories flying around were is Moss angry that he got no catches? WTF?

These arent the Patriots of our Superbowl ERA, the old patriots were about being a single unit and doing whats best for the team and we will never get back to that if we pander to premadonas and me first players. The sooner these patriots get back to this mind set the better so why all the crying? Because we lost a player that we never should of picked up in the first place?

No. But our offense went from the Saints to nobody.

All these people soooo sold on Welker, who never did anything before Brady or Moss were on his team act like he's a reason to feel secure that Moss is gone. No way. No one replace the deep threat that is Moss, or the attention. Like someone else said, our chances went from 10& to 5%. This team has a full season to play, but I'll be amazed with ten wins. They have no deep threat on O, Welker isn't the same this season, Edelman is doing nothing this season.

Even if this offense is good, it could have been great.:bricks: Our D better get 01 level magical for this team to do **** this year. What a way to ruin a great win..I can't believe this.

BB has never released a a vet for nothing because he was gone the enxt season. If Moss puts up 1100+ yards this season, and we draft another Crable, how did BB not **** this up? He made the team worse this season, and unless a miracle happens, it's hard to see a 3rd rounder equal Moss's value. Moss could have brought a team a SB this season. When we don't hear from our 3rd rounders in 3 years but cheer because he so much as steps on the field I'm going to cry.

WTF could have happened for Moss to be given away for nothing? Why? I'm speechless over this. This team that needed to improve just got WORSE:bricks:

People are drinking the juice.Yes they threw away their season! In my opinion Brady has regressed somewat. You can see the big stats from last year but look at how he has performed on the road.Bill O'Brien is a terrible coordinator!

And for most teams rebuild mode constitutes 3 wins TOTAL.

You don't have a damn CLUE how good we have it. Why don't you open your eyes and take a look around the rest of the NFL.
Re-tool then. We've been re-tooling since Seymour was traded. If you can't see that then so be it!

I live in Bills territory. Believe me when I tell you that I know how good we have it.
