Hardboiled, I'm not trying to be a d--- about it. Sorry if it came off that way.

From an on field production standpoint, you're right but BB would not dream of sending Moss somewhere else unless Moss has become a locker room issue.

Exactly right, BB wouldnt do this for the heck of it, he would have to feel Moss will disrupt the team and we'd be better off with him out of here.

It's being reported that Moss and Belichick had an "encounter" after the Miami game, described as "not a good one."

The growth of this thread puts the 'Jets Suck' thread to shame.

Interesting how Tanguay reports this now, and noone else did earlier in the day.

Everyone remember when Brady got his first contract extension and they traded away his favorite receiver?

Some Dejavu...

Brady's pretty smart. He's matured even more since then and probably learned from that experience.

I live in the semi-realistic world that Chilly isn't so completely ******ed to give away Rice/Harvin. And I'm not sold that Edwards isn't a product of the Williams wall.

Just heard ESPN said the compensation (Patriots) is very close. I guess if so, the next step is for Moss to negotiate a contract ($9m/yr..).

If he is gone, they will double-team Welker, which is Brady's blanky..

I sure hope this is bull****.

Glazer just said they were working this even before last nights game.

No. Simmons tweeted something an hour earlier than the Glazer retweet, and subsequently removed the tweet. He claimed he was trying to direct message someone on twitter to see if there was any truth in a series of follow-up tweets. Glazer reported it after.

Yep. I didn't see the removed tweet. I only saw his retweet of Glazer.

Curran now saying no deal close (link):
There is no Randy Moss-to-Minnesota trade looming, CSNNE.com Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran reports. According to two Patriots sources and Vikings head coach Brad Childress, the Patriots big-name receiver will not be dealt back to the team that drafted him in 1998.

CSNNE is reporting that Randy was very unhappy about the game last night and today in the locker room he let it be known to his teammates. Also there was encounter with Bill and Bill apparently is done with it.

WTF, I have to wake up to this?? Flurg!!!!!!!

its strange because tom curran said he talked to moss and he was very happy and satisfied with the game

Since the players are off until thursday, it would be interesting to know just who was in that locker room.

Just came on line and saw all this.

It's the NFL, so anything can happen, but I don't see how they can get rid of Moss without getting something in return that can help them NOW and not two seasons from now. Brady is 33. He'll be 35 in two years. The future is now.
