Just to throw some more fuel on the fire. Funny how Chilly mentioned he was watching the Patriots - Jets game. Perhaps to get a better look at his new WR facing the team they play next week?

I thought about this as a separate thread, but since this is the only thread in town tonight: I'd like to offer a discussion comparing the early-career progress of, say, Spikes-Chung-McCourty to, say, Bruschi-Milloy-Law. I say the new guys are doing OK.

Just something to chew on while we wait for actual Moss news.

Does seem like a good time to pull the trigger if the trigger is being pulled. I would hate the trade - I love Randy - but if you are going to trade him mid-season during the Bye week is ideal. If someone else is coming in then it gives a extra week of learning, and if it is a reshuffling, again the extra week helps.

Honestly, the only problem IF Moss were to be traded is that the corners could cover Welker and Hernandez more. But I still think that the Pats would have enough weapons to be a SB contender.

Moss wants a big/last contract...he does not care who it is with or who the QB is. Once he gets paid he is set. Not to say he does not care about winning, put he definitely care about a long term deal more.

Since the Patriots PR man denied a trade is being talked about, it seems like a lot of TV talking heads are walking back their claims, or trying to "nuance" their words. I think someone smelled smoke when there was none. Or someone's been smoking too much of something.

you just have to trust BB...i know it is hard some time, but you just have to do it.

Since the Vikings are playing the Jets this week, I'm okay with Moss being traded to Minnesota as long as it is on the condition he be traded back seven days from now.

personally..i think thsi will happen and this will be 2006 all over again with a brady body language watch .. its not happened yet because probably BB wants to squeeze the vikes for some ridicolous amout and not a 3rd rd pick which would be absurd.

Going to have to listen to sports talk radio sadly rather than the usual metal at this pace. And if this does goes down, my work output will go to nothing. I placed a waiver claim on Brandon Tate already in fantasy football, just in case this goes down, which at this pace looks like it is. I just hope we have another move ready to go, maybe Jackson coming, maybe something else.
