Can bring one asset to the table that is sorely lacking in the secondary; good hands. If an offense does not have to worry about INTs (as they don't against McCourty) then it emboldens them quite a bit..

Lawyer Milloy is still playing for the Seahawks.

But maybe Ty's family has gotten bigger so he needs to come back.

They should just sign his family and cut out the middle man.

Are there any clips that show more of his highlights? I'm going all over youtube and can't find much. I still have man-love for Ty I must admit. As far as bringing him back wasn't this idea kicked around in '08? And we might have been even more desperate for a CB then (Hobbs,O'neal,Wilhite???!!) so if it didn't happen then it def won't happen now.

normally i'd laugh but the only good thing about butler being on the field is....

...

... d%#*!@t I have nothing.

...he's better than Duane Starks.

Let's get Willie McGinnest and Roman Phifer in here pronto, Tonto!

This is one of those rare threads where I still can't figure out if the premise of the post is a serious discussion or not?

I find it hard to believe, actually alarmed to believe that some Pats fans are really wanting to bring back an old washed up CB that has done next to nothing in 4 years?

Has our crap of a secondary really brought us to this low point of desperation?

The glory days of all pro Ty Law are over long ago,the glory days of the Pats in the first decade are also over

New decade,new team....let's get some new ideas,eh?

Whether Law has anything left or not, teaching others and being a team player are way way down the list of qualities associated with Ty Law.

I thought maybe the kid was joking. I've been wrong before ;)
Oh, and for the record. I do not find it hard to believe that people are freaking out about the secondary in WEEK 3, and wanting Law back. Judging from the threads this week, its to be expected

It wouldn't be an issue if they had resigned Asante Samuel...but we know the Patriots do things on the cheap. Unless your name is Tom Brady of course!

No, we don't know the Patriots do things on the cheap; please explain.

Seriously: I want to hear your explanation.

Dude, the term around here is "value." ;)

All the teams have the same salary cap. The Pats spend like every other team. The Pats do choose not to spend a lot on only a few "Pro Bowl" players but spread the money around a bit. The Pats salary is the in the top tier every year - what is wrong with that?

This team needs an experienced CB, if for no other reason than the help teach the young guys how to get better. I SAY BRING BACK TY LAW!!!!!! WE NEED HIS ASS BACK HERE!!!

The guy will need a vehicle just to stay with receivers, are you kidding me?

Good point. Also, I'm not sure that Ty is willing to play for a coach who is a "LIAR".

Law said that in the offseason and played for BB that following year so I guess he would play for him
