Met David Givens yesterday before the game

David Givens was signing autographs at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield. I told him I thought he was doing a good job on NESN, and he said they contacted him out of the blue and that he was nervous and wondered if he was too blunt. I told him he wasn't and we joked about how candid Bruschi was in his analysis of Sanchez.

He was a really genuine guy.

I like Givens, though have never met him. What is he doing on NESN ? I didn't know he was on there.

He's analyzing the games on "NESN daily" which usually airs at 11pm. They had Max Lane on there yesterday too...why? I have no idea. He mumbles and stutters.
