I wonder what ever happened to Earthwind? I have not seen him on any NFL team roster this year.. Wonder if he is out of work just in case we need DESPERATE help later in the season with secondary injuries..He is no Champ Bailey but then again he is no Duane Starks - Plus he knows our team

Sssshhh...Bill is keeping him hidden in a secret room under Gillette.

Earthwind was signed August 4th but cut August 28th by the Texans.

That's all that has happened to him since being cut after XXXIX.

my thoughts exactly! As much as I dont want to see him brought out from hiding since it normally means we are banged up in a bad way in the secondary, what would a season be without him and Hank!

I wasn't aware Earthwind had leg and shoulder injuries when he played for us.

Really not a very good comparison.

The answer to Earthwind is, we've moved on. The answer to who do we look at before Moreland is any CB with two legs.

It's really an insult to Poteat to put him in the same category.

You saved me the trouble of posting, (oops! I did anyway!). Earthwind Moreland is the exception that proves the rule of "Belichick can put anyone at DB and still win." Earthwind is a truly horrible football player. Starks is a "has been", Moreland is a "never was and never will be".

I'll agree that Starks is, (and probably was due to injuries), likely washed up. But the guy had 25 INTs.

I believe that would put him 2nd on this team and we have two veteran cornerbacks in Hawkins and Scott.

Really, he's no Champ Bailey? I think it is a good point some of you made about bringing him back later in the year if the team suffers injuries. It's not like the secondary didn't have a rash of injuries last year. This guy absolutely sucks. Give me a break.

I'd rather see Kato Serwanga come back.

Or for the old timers, Johnny Outlaw.
