Havent seen Corey do anything like that since he's been here. He , probably, just got caught up with the moment, especially it being in Cincy..... He's been a class act since coming here.

Unfortunately, we're quite familiar with it... He also did some taunting of the fans from the sidelines later in the game too. Honest to God, I would have no hard feelings towards Dillon if he hadn't made his attacks at the very fans who bought his jerseys and sang his praises for so many years. It's sad to see him still attacking the fans. Takeo Spikes worked his way out of town too, but he did it between himself and the organization. He never took it out on the fans that rooted for him. Takeo, I still like quite a bit. It's been sad to see him with so many injuries.

With all the quarrel with McGinest over that number I´m surprised they didn´t know he plays with 22 (upside down).

Good luck during the rest of the season and hope to see you guys in the PO.

Throwing the ball back was a great move by the fans IMO - got a good laugh out of that.

Thanks for the info :D. And yeah, the fan that threw the ball back may have been the only one in orange worthy of a game ball. :p

Good luck the rest of the way Marvin.... you really do love your team as you should.

Was fun woofin with ya......

Someone fill me in on the postgame thing. What did Chad and Carson say? I can see Chad making some odd remarks but Carson?

He said the better team didn't win.

Brady was asked about that on EEI's Patriots Monday and he said something to the effect, "I've heard that before."

I can understand the hard feelings towards Dillon, but he's our guy now and he's been a fantastic, team-first player in all respects since he got here (playing hurt, reaching out to help the new guy, etc.).

As for yesterday, he was very strongly booed by the Cincinnati crowd, so you can imagine that that intensified his emotions. I don't think that fans can expect a one-way street (we abuse you, you have to smile at us). And throwing the ball into the crowd wasn't exactly wiping his backside on the goal-post or giving them the finger. Still, he broke the rules and will get fined. So be it.

Agreed. I certainly don't expect Bengals fans to want to shower Dillon with love and kisses, but I am not the least bit upset that he got flagged and will probably be fined. The guy has been the exact opposite of the "cancer" he was touted to be since the moment he got here, and I am a huge fan.

And it was a great gesture for the Tigris fans to toss the ball back!
I laughed out loud at that.

Yes, absolutely!

I bet that the guys will all have a good laugh about that on the training ground (led by BB and Brady).

A class act would have been to bury the hatchet, not to escalate. The fans had every right to boo the hero that had thrown them under the bus in order to leave town. Dillon, right or wrong, stabbed the Cincinnati fanbase in the back in order to force a trade. He could have proven the it was a calculated business decision by holding no grudge, and letting the boos roll off his back. He didn't. He did an encore performance of the nasty act he inflicted on the fans the last time.

I'm not demanding you to hate someone who's been great for you. I'm just saying Cincinnati fans are justified in their dislike.

classy post. thanks. but we'll have to agree to disagree on the helmet call. hope we meet in the Playoffs in Foxboro in January with just a little sleet in the air...

I just got home from the game and wanted to stop back here and say congrats to you guys.
You deserved every bit of that win today. The Pats manhandled us from start to finish in that game.
I'm sure you will hear Bengals fans pissing and moaning about the phantom helmet to helmet call against Kaesviharn and crying that it cost us the game, but don't listen to that crap. It was a clean hit and a bad call, but in no way affected the outcome of the game. Our inability to tackle anything in a white jersey determined the outcome of that game.
Oh well, such is life. Kudos to the Pats for playing a good game and winning a tough one on the road. Your team deserves it.
Hopefully we'll get a chance to do it again in the playoffs.
Good luck on the rest of your season guys. :eat3:

thks for the nice post

personally i have the same respect for yr team i had before

the Bengals are a good team, no doubt
