The differences are very real, but very subtle in ways.

One statement was written by someone who people say it is a miracle that he may start the season without being on the PUP list.

The other was written by a person who some people say it's a miracle he can even walk.

I have no issue with Ryan's signature. We all know the Jets always win the off season. And the off season is about to be over, hence they are soon to be champs.

The off-season is very important to the Jets. In fact unlike most teams that honor former players during the half time of regular season games. The Jets are inducting players into their ring of honor during half time of the first pre-season game.

Here's the whole story:

Wes Welker of the New England Patriots refuses to make any bold proclamations - ESPN

Welker stared at the Jets team logo sticker affixed to the bus on which Ryan signed, "Soon to be champs."

Welker paused, glanced at the Patriots team logo on the bus and seemed to be thinking. Finally, he lifted the cap off the Sharpie, autographed his name and kept on writing just the way Ryan did.

What cracks me up most about the Fat Slob is that he not only spends half his time telling people he is good enough to do something he never had, he spends the other half arguing at whoever these people are that he says don't like him saying those things.
I think there are some deepseating issue for a therapist. As John Candy says Rex swallowed a lot of aggression....and a lot of cheeseburgers too.

I don't know why you guys get so mad at this. Just laugh at it now, and then laugh at it again when the Pats win the division again.

I think the guy is a moron, and in 5 months will be hiding from public view. He is setting himself up to be the most laughed at failure in years.

Ryan is going to get his team killed. There's a big target on their backs from teams looking at this .500 team that got into the playoffs on a sheer run of luck wondering who the hell they think they are. I am really, truly convinced that this team is going to fall apart.

Look, you guys are going WAAAAY overboard with Jets threads these days. Don't get me wrong - part of me loves coming here and seeing the Jets obsession that seems to be festering. But every time I click this board, I find myself saying, "Holy crap! ANOTHER Jets thread." There are some pretty good football posters on this board, and I don't think this trend is serving you well.

. . . but, by all means, carry on. . . .
