Swept by the Orioles. :bricks:Sheesh...

This team blows. Is anybody really that surprised? Beltre, Cameron, Scutaro? Drew, Ortiz, Lowell? 170 million dollar payroll!
Are we in KC, or Boston?

I really don't know what this series says about the Angels.

It doesn't say anything ...

The entire season won't say too much ...

We can jump on the bandwagon in September ... :D

36 runs and 53 hits allowed in 4 games. Just wow.

Well, the way the Rays are going they'll have 120 wins in September. Those guys never frickin lose.

21-7, are you kidding me?

the good news is the rays will lose a lot of there good players to free agency because they cant afford them after this year.

They're definitely the sexy pick right now and it's hard to disagree, but it's such a long season and July can be a grind. I still like the Sox once they make a few trades and realize they need to out-slug their way in the AL East before they can start playing with "run-defense" I believe the the pitching will solidify once June rolls around.

It is definitely a long season, but I remember thinking in 2008 that the Rays had to slow down at some point, and they never really did.

its painfully obvious to me the sox are going nowhere this year. the rays are for real and have a excellent young talented team and the yankees are the yankees. both teams are better than the redsox. hopefully that will change in the off season. the wildcard belongs to the yankees this year.

I'd like to have faith in the Red Sox this year but the stark reality is that Tampa Bay and New York are streaks ahead of this Sox side this season. The Red Sox have spotted them both big leads already.

sup guys:cool:?

Youk for Overbay..yes im joking.

I am happy for the losing it gives the Jays a somewhat reasonable chance.Any possible chance Francona gets canned?

So how many left here still saying "it's only may"?

One thing that will be interesting is seeing how Fenway continues throughout the year. Lets face it they are lying about sellouts, hell i wouldn't waste my time driving the 2 hours to Boston if i had free tickets right now. I compare watching this team play baseball to watching paint dry on a wall, it is really going to suck once the bruins and Celtics run is done!

6 seasons

-2 World Series Titles
-2 American League Pennants
-5 Playoff Berths
-7 Playoff series wins

No.
