Still no idea what the other numbers are for Price, Hernandez

Excellent. I hope you're in training -- we need reports.

Yes we definitely do.

I am back working again so I will not be to even close to the amount I was at last year so I will be relying on the kindness of others too.....and since I hooked you guys up last year I am really expecting big things in return :D

I will likely take a day or two off at the starts of camp and then will get to as many as I can but it wont be anything like last year when I was there for over 2/3 of the open sessions.

It would be cool for pics to be posted as soon as they come in as well.

Overall sounds like the skill guys looked very solid and Spikes is the personality we expect; and as PFW quotes him, Spikes tweaked one of Bill's favorite quotes when talking about his 40 time :

"“It is what it is, but it ain’t what you think.”"

love this quote! :D

Is Brandon Tate there?

No. Only rookies.

I got your back...........I can work while I am there (the power of the crackberry)

I'm seriously beginning to warm to #55.....

Very disappointing posting Mr. Reiss. You did not write anything about the players' performance on the field. Gawd I hope you are not turning into a lazy sot like the rest of the press corp seem to shut their eyes are practices (or are too busy socializing or are drunk) and write about idiotic things they can get from the press releases such as holdout and salary and injuries....

Does it strikes anyone else that the Patriots seem to have drafted more than the usual amount of players with distinct personalities this year? From Gronk with that genuine excitement when he was drafted to Spikes with the cool 'do and the variation on "it is what it is," to a punter named Zoltan with the presence to be named captain. Maybe that's it - more presence than "personality" (which can become a distraction.)

As I pointed out on another thread, the criticism that BB likes "robots" doesn't match up with the leaders of the Pats' success, guys like Bruschi, Brady, McGinest, Big Vince, Rodney, Seymour. Maybe along with some potentially good football players who love football, that presence can be one of the hallmarks of this draft.

Chat with Welsh:

One other Welch-related note … he referred to second-round pick Jermaine Cunningham as one of the best players he went against during his collegiate career. That’s saying something considering the tremendous talent he faced weekly in the SEC not the least of which were Jarvis Moss and Derrick Harvey, a pair of Gators teammates selected in the first round in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Sounds like a lot of struggles in the PM session. But at least Gronk and Spikes seem to continue to look good. They're definitely the frontrunners so far for offensive and defensive rookies who will make the biggest impact.

Adalius Thomas's definition of being a robot is simply working hard and doing your job which I understand is hard when your making million(s) but :D

Yes it's been a pervasive theme this year and imho a long time coming too ;)

It is what you think it is. Soft. No turning on a dime.
I don't think that's what Hart meant, though, even though what you said is the standard meaning.

His quote was :

"The first reaction to the top three offensive skill draft picks is positive. Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez and Taylor Price all showed soft hands and pretty soft route running."

He was referring to them in the positive, I think he chose a bad word when he said soft, I think he meant something more like smooth route running. If he really meant soft then it wouldn't make sense to say the reaction is positive.
