I know, it's almost as unheard of as a professional athlete smoking weed.

The only thing that is alarming is that he failed multiple times - he should have learned his lesson after the first time.

I don't even care about that, as long as he doesn't end up getting suspended down the road over continued use.

Why do they even bother with this anymore?

Cannabis isn't an issue with athletes. Look at all the world records Michael Phelps set, and the two more since the Olympics. He had his picture taken hitting a ROOR bong, which isn't for lightweights or "first timers".

As long as it doesn't affect his preparation who cares?

He is going to start suspending players for things they did before they were drafted?

He failed the tests...but does that mean he is still using the crap? Has he failed a test after he was drafted? Is he getting arrested for having the crap on him?

Until any of those happen his past is the past and they have to look forward and work with him. If he can't stay off the stuff then he is done with the Patriots and with the NFL- but until then he is their player.

Tragic, but he probably just enjoys smoking pot. It's certainly useful for muscle aches. Moss and Faulk could hook him up.

I see him as Ben Watson 2.0, give or take how his locker room presence pans out.

You can fail "four, five, six" drug tests in coillege and still play? Did he get any drug suspensions?
