Wow, you can tell this is a patsies board :p The fact is the bills got better this offseason and NE got worse. Last season, if not for horrible playcalling, the Bills would have split with the patsies. Regaurdless though...

Patriots 16 Bills 14 After all its still a division game,Even if Buffalo has a new staff and is not a very good team-We win like we almost always do in the past 5 years ...late, and by a whisker

Sorry, but I smell an upset in the making. I don't see getting much info from Smith, and the Bills o-line looked pretty good recently (although only pre-season...)

Here's my analysis...score means nothing

IF...the D line is intact...IF Bruschi calls the D signals....if Vrabel moves inside/outside on specific D calls...the Buffalo gets pressure on their QB that will force mistakes.Wilfork is going to present too many problems inside for Buffalo to double team Seymour, which means their will be pressure coming through the guards AND Colvin will be unaccounted for from the edge...this will force Buffalo to run plays to the other side where they will run into Vrabel AND Harrison. All Seau is going to do on 1st and 2nd downs is fill that A OR B gap the Buffalo center and guards are going to try to exploit. Seau only has to read Wilfork, who has become, to put it plainly, monstrous. If, and we expect it, Bru starts...then the recogniton factor presnap is second to NONE. THAT is who Tedy Bruschi is.

I expect Buffalo to try to beat our corners early....if you guys have been watching, Samuel looks totally comfortable...but also, if you have been watching, it doesn't seem anyone wants anything to do with Hobbs. Waekness? Perhaps Wilson....his confidence was shattered last year and he's shown a few lapses this preseason. BUT, IF Rodney is back...and he should be if he's going to start...Buffalo is in trouble both running and crossing routes. I know a lot of you beleive the Seau hype....heh....Seau is OUR starter, after what???...a couple of weeks??? WHY????? The reason is...try to run 1st or 2nd down and hit the gap Wilfork doesn't close..there's Junior....BORN to play in this defense.

No, I expect the Buffalo offense to run their first gameplanned offensive plkays and find out they're outmanned and unable to cope with defensive players that are SUPER BOWL tested.

Which leaves Buffalo the task of stopping 4.4 Watson blowing their safeties up, Faulk on swings, Dillon pounding slow but sure and JEZZUS, I mean...if Maroney can play...look guys, I'm 55...I've seen em all....this kid was a stroke of luck

The result? I expect a dominating performance...BUT I believe it won't be nearly as strong a performance as what thge scribes write later on.

One key I hope everybody watches...watch Colvin...later in the year Rosey, if he stays healthy, is going to terrify our opponents.

Just one old Patriot fan's view who still burns about that Ben Dreith Oakland game in 75

This is a simple contest thread. Please keep it as easy as possible for Alamo to sort and keep the whys and hows on the many other threads.
