What was that crap all about?
Truth is, my espn boycott is broken only once a year, for the draft.
This reminds me why.

Re: espn can shove it.

As I said in the other thread...

ESPN Draft coverage - Grown men arguing like schoolgirls about who they like most.

NFLN Draft coverage - Detailed profiles of prospects supplemented by well thought out insight by Mike Mayock.

Re: espn can shove it.

im watching NFL network i can't stand mel kiper

Re: espn can shove it.

I'm in western ma, I can't get nfln for any price. Not on cable anyway. I had it for a year and a half for free with my package but no more.

espn bites

Re: espn can shove it.

I was at the computer and not paying attention to the tv. What happened?

Re: espn can shove it.

anyone else notice that almost every time the pats are on the clock on NFLN, it goes to a commercial break...maybe its just a coincidence...

i noticed the commercial thing to and thought the same thing. Commercials as the pats pick.

Re: espn can shove it.

I had to write a letter to our cable provider to add NFL NETWORK, and about a month later it was added. Guess they finally got tired of me and others complaining. We are thrilled and news travels fast on player updates!

Of course ESPN 1 & 2 is deleted from my channel list!

well, this thread just makes the point that three days of draft are ridiculous...it's only day two and the silly season has begun...

channel 715 regular digital and 853 on HD. Comcast in western MA.

Streaming coverage from nfl.com don't have to deal with espn.

Lucky enough to watch NFLN, what happened on ESPN. I am always looking for another reason not to watch that #@#$%R channel

Going to commercial whenever the Patriots have a pick. Talking over pick announcements. Constantly going back to the same idiotic camera shots of an undrafted binky. Talking constantly about guys they can't believe were taken(ie they have no idea who the guy is as he isn't one of their favorites).

That's just to name a few

It looked like they were making the "yawning" motion when describing the pick. They skipped over to the next pick, I've been drinking. But I did not imagine all this. I believe it was the Cunningham pick.

Berman has been an embarrassment so far. He doesn't seem cut out for the way live tv throws curves at you. At one point yesterday you could see him with a look of rage on his face waving his arm as if he were signaling the production crew - sort if in line with the f bomb laden tirade that is famous on YouTube.

He followed that up with using the line "So......... Peyton manning.... Still pretty good......." to kill time before the colts picked. Thanks berman for showing us clearly how worthless you are to our enjoyment of the actual event you're there to supposedly enhance with your skill.

I think a lot of the criticisms in here are just silly homerism, but the one thing I consider to be very valid is the perverse pleasure they take in showing those instances when an individual is being humiliated by how far he has fallen. Not to mention that once they get it on tape, we have to see it every year.
