Ditto, I was hoping they would get him to pair him up with Mayo on 3-4 downs. He may not have great coverage ability, but then you just bring in Guyton on sub packages and now get a true SILB. Love the pick, should free up Mayo to move around a bit more.

iam quuite sure the pats wont be picking both #89 and #90..iam guessing one of the becomes a 2nd rounder next yr.

I agree, I'm a little cautious as well. I'll be skeptical of any Meyer-developed Pats pick, until one actually pans out. I also don't think Meyer did any favors for Tebow by not working on his mechanics for four years.

Gus Scott and Chad Jackson were obviously abject failures. But that's a small sample. A more direct question is how successful are Florida players as a whole around the league.

ALL I know is he could play FOOTBALL really good.

I love Mayock's analysis, but he needs to be a bit more critical. He just complimented Bill Polian for drafting a guy in the second that he had rated as a fourth round pick.
