Why are you quoting yourself instead of me? I never said the Fins went 16-0 in the regular season. Instead they did something better. Comprhenday?

I pointed to my quote for a reference. The Dolphins did not do something better than 16-0. They did 14-0.

It's not my fault that you're a troll. I'll tell you what. You can now join the ignore list. Trolls are one thing, but pathetic trolls ruin boards. Your banning cannot come soon enough.

Well if you want to get technical......we never had a player named 'Samual'

Are you really going after a misspelled name? How many different ways can you spell sammual, sammy, sammali and so on...... That is a bit low.

Are you seriously trying to justify a regular season sweep versus a Superbowl win? So what the Dolphins did wasn't better? This is sad.

I think the Pats need to send Taylor packing and then put him on speed dial. It is not like there is going to be a huge demand for an old slow injury prone RB.

My feeling - we don't need to draft a RB unless he gives us something different from the other 5. And that thing is big play ability. The only 2 guys I like are Best and Spiller.

FWIW, Law Firm only has 2 years of service right now and would not be a FA next year unless the new CBA changes that rule. Just from that perspective, he'd be worth keeping over either Maroney of Taylor. Morris is a good ST player and has too much flexibility (RB, FB, 3rd down, short yardage) to just be released.

As are most Jets fans are....

BTW - It's S-A-M-U-E-L

BB would not indulge in such insanity. Maroney is under contract and is a good value. Last year's fumbilitis was an anomaly in his career. Sure, if he repeats the butterfingers, he won't be back in 2011 but he's here and contributing in the 2010 season and post season.

Lest we forget another HOF Pats running back that had fumble problems early in his career. I think he turned out alright for us...

No, try the near AFC championship crown. The gift was given, but at least we did something with it. When a rookie Mark Sanchez has a better playoff performance than Brady you know it's the end of an era.

I guess when your team hasn't even so much as sniffed a Lombardi since the Lunar landing and Led Zeppin's first album, near AFC championships should be celebrated. Some Jets fans are just so utterly pathetic.

Speaking of Lunar landings.... I heard Bill Belichick actually paid off a NASA employee to tap into their satellites for "special" team viewing. That and of course his home video camera.

Yeah I know. How dare we video tape the Jets and steal all of those Super Bowl rings that they rightfully should have won instead of us from 2001-2004!

Not just the jets, the Dolphins, Steelers, Colts, Chargers and every other team.

Let's see...

1. I wasn't aware that taping defensive signals helped Troy Brown take back kick returns for touchdowns or forced Roethlisberger to throw INT after INT, including a pick six to Harrison.

2. I wasn't aware that taping defensive signals forced Manning to have some of the two worst playoff games of his career in two successive years. Nor was I aware that the tapes allowed it to snow heavily on Foxboro stadium which stalled the Colts offense.

3. I wasn't aware that taping defensive tapes made the Chargers offense shoot themselves in the foot time and time again and forced Marlon McCree to keep running with an INT when he should have just taken a knee.

As for the Dolphins, you serious bro? The Jets had the same chance at winning a Super Bowl over the past decade as you do of getting laid at a whorehouse. The Dolphins had even less of a chance. But according to you, taping stuff allows you to win Super Bowls. Maybe your last two fat head coaches should have tried it. Perhaps the Jets would have competed for a championship in the last four decades.

1.You were fined a bucket load of money

2.You lost draft pics for the blatant cheating

3.Personal insults isn't going wash away the giant stain on the Patriot organization.

How can you even dismiss the advantages of knowing the opponents signals before hand? The Patriots destroyed the essence of the game. This is worse than steroid use. And you call yourself a fan of football while condoning blatant cheating.

I think this is what the Judge said to the Jets fans who are trying to sue the team

getting back on point........The Lions are shopping for a running back,I think it would get interesting with the Pats and Maroney,if they don't get someone before the Draft.

Don't get me wrong,I like LoMo,especially with a healthy Stephen Neal and Vollmer,on the right side.

However,Detroit's 3rd would be mighty tempting or even a flip-flop of # 44 and #34 with a 5th rounder thrown in.

From what I've been hearing, Lendale White and Ronnie Brown are the two most likely options for Detroit

1)Oh no!! the billionaire Kraft got fined 10 cents...idiot

2) Jetdell took ONE draft pick..uninformed and mindnumbingly stupid is no way to open an anti-Pats screed

3)your existence is personally insulting to the legions of sub 80 IQ members of our society striving to make a better life for themselves.

4)The "signals" canard has been debunked and disproved since the start oif the Jetdell witchhunt. The fact you are trying to use this as the lynchpin in your "argument" means that you are grossly uninformed, obviously unintelligent and a kneejerk over the top hater...in other words... a NY Rat fan.

For those who find it not that difficult to ignore the Jets trolls:

With all those picks in rounds 6 and 7 that aren't tradeable, maybe the Patriots should use the shotgun approach and target the running back position by taking three of them in these two rounds. Rolling the dice three times in the 6th-7th rounds may be preferable to picking one back in an earlier round.

That might not be a bad idea though I wonder if everyone would get enough reps for the coaching staff to make an informed decision. I suppose you could keep the three thirty year old guys on the sidelines since you already know what they're capable of doing, but you still want to make sure everybody's timing and conditioning is right for the start of the season.

Regardless I wouldn't mind seeing a DE, OLB, TE, WR, OL and maybe a CB and P drafted before a RB is selected; then next year use a 2nd round pick on a RB.
