What a massive bust he was.

Aqua will be so happy to have his binky Ginn closer to him on the west coast.

Great return man, can't catch passes to save his life. He seems to have talent, and we know he has the speed, just needs to develop hands. Now, he will never be a great receiver, but a low round pick is worth the gamble. Then you chain him to a jugs machine for the summer until he can catch footballs in his sleep.

Re: Per WEEI: T Ginn Jr to 49ers

The ironic thing with Ginn is that two of the biggest top 10 pick busts in recent years were drafted in the AFC East in subsequent years. Ted Ginn Jr. in 2007 and then Vernon Gholston in 2008. Both may be out of the AFC East by the start of the season. And both will get next to nothing in return.

Re: Per WEEI: T Ginn Jr to 49ers

people refer back to that draft as one of our failings but the fact is it was a dog of a draft and we made out with a pro bowler.

brady quinn or ted ginn, bleurgh

Re: Per WEEI: T Ginn Jr to 49ers

According to Adam Schefter it is a 5th, #145.

Maybe Roger "I am the world's biggest JETS fan" Goddell can pressure San Fran behind the scenes to get Ginn to New York, that way the rst of the NFL will have another week of listening to the media crow about the great Jets off season.

Well Ginn isn't any more of a bust than the guy everybody in the world thought the Dolphins should have taken in Brady Quinn. Everybody thought Miami made a bad move by not only choosing Ginn but not taking Quinn.

Ted Ginn can't catch a cold, but i have a hard time believing the player Miami gets with that 5th round pick will be of any more value. I will keep an eye on this one just because there are so many Dolphins fans who feel this is a great move. They are grossly overrating a 5th round draft choice.

Dan Koppen, 5th round 2003, two SB rings as starting Center, Pro-Bowl...you never know neighbor.

An open mind is a terrible thing to waste...
