We know how the Patriots like to leave us scratching our heads sometimes when they leave certain people on the board. Sometimes they're right, sometimes we look back and wonder what could have been.

The dream I had was just brutal. It starts off with the 2nd round going on. The Pats are on the clock and I notice that Calvin Johnson is still available. (Yeah I know, it's three years late but it's just a dream. And c'mon, Calvin Johnson available in the 2nd round!)

The Pats take a CB that I'd never heard of.

Then they're on the clock with their next pick. Who's available this time? Ndamukong freakin' Suh! And they pass on him too! That's when I woke up, not remembering who we took instead.

God help us. :)

Luckily for us, I'm fairly certain that scenario won't play out ;)

You need a week away from the draft board. You've been thinking about it too much.

If Suh is still around by the second round then the Raiders must have traded with every NFL team to gather up all thier first round picks

Wow, I have had a bunch of draft dreams too. I had a dream the other day that we got Tebow in the second. Then (fast forward to season in dream) Tebow was running the ball for us as a RB and trucked over a CB and everyone was kissing his butt. then I woke up. I also had a dream that we took Odrick in the first. I have been thinking about this draft way too much.

This is hilarious, and I know longer feel as embarrassed for having such dreams as well.

Sometimes, I dream that I miss the entire draft on television, and have to go online to check who the Patriots took, only not to know any of the names. Miss the draft? Dear god, what could possibly be worse?

I seriously would have to consider cutting myself (Terrible football related pun, sorry if I am going to offend anyone. But I'm keeping it).

And by the way, no joke, I have these nightmares about once a week. I seriously think I need to see a psychologist. Which is interesting, considering I'm majoring in psychology.

Woah, me too! I dreamt that I just forgot about the draft on Thursday and missed the whole first round. I then looked online and was dissapointed with the picks.

Last year, I had a dream that i got ran over by Percy Harvin and ever since that dream I wanted the Pats to draft him. But then the Vikings had to take him didn't they :enranged:

BB draft aftershocks last a long time. I'm still feeling the Clay Matthews after-effects to this day. Be fully prepared for a classic BB trade down from 22 down to the top of Round 2 and gulp, yes, the Tim Tebow pick will be read from the podium and the extra 3rd that BB pissed away on Burgess will be back in Patriots hands. Prepare yourself now, it will help when the actual nightmares happen.

How is this part of your dream different than what will happen???????

Are you kidding me?

I'll have you know that just about every Patriots fan had there eyes on Clint Oldenberg and Justise Hairston in 2007.

I have the same draft nightmare every year ... we keep taking Greg McMurtry and Hart Lee Dykes.

I can out-pathetic you. I had a dream that I forgot to start the annual draft contest over on the draft board, because I had the date of the draft wrong by a couple of weeks. In the dream, this was an absolute catastrophe.

(I think this one was even more pathetic than last year, when I dreamed in great detail that the Patriots drafted Troy Kropog, OL from Tulane, in round 5.)
