Oh I did, I gave a concrete example (e.g., the ice core drillings). And other posters have done so, and given links.

You have yet to do either.

Pray what is there at Wal-mart, that draws a "hard-paying" customer? Isn't that a contradiction?

If you want to be the fool and buy into the phony pseudo-science proffered by these scientific fakes, then do it with your own money. Buy Algores carbon credits, buy cap and tax...it's all a sham to move tax dollars from the private sector to Government coffers, where they can better control freethinking people with the help of drones who believe their tripe. Their own internal memos outed this scam (plenty of links available on that, too), which was previously only deduced with the help of humility and common sense.

Then again, maybe you're right. I hear this summer it's going to be hotter than it's been all year! ;-)

Don't use the term doing your "homework" when questionning climate change because doing your "homework" would mean gathering information from legitimate sources such as academically peer-reviewed articles not conspiracy message boards.

Please go ahead and log on to any academic journal database such as EBSCOhost and find me peer-reviewed articles questionning man's role in global warming. Hint: You won't find any.

As if the current mode of fuel (e.g., oil) isn't already a "scam" that is much easier to control, since it's centralized, and comes through only one conglomerate giant (OPEC)?

OPEC... environuts are the reason we can't drill right here in the good ole US of A. We can be completely self sufficient, and SHOULD be. That's freedom. There is then no need to ingratiate ourselves to these third world oligarchies and fight endless wars to protect foreign oil fields.

Let oil companies compete, offer incentives to make alternatives to oil efficient enough to actually use. Don't sell me some phony hoax to make me use less oil so that caibou in Alaska don't have to graze next to an oil pipe that delivers needed fuel from where it's found to where it's used. Yes, there is more underground in America than we'll EVER use. Use our resources, employ our people and our businesses. Now THAT'S Patriotism!

Please provide your credentials in science as welll as economic externalities because you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

there isn't cap AND tax it's one or the other. I suggest you look into the carbon tax because as an individual, you would most likely benefit because you'd be taxed based on your carbon footprint (which is probably pretty low) rather than your income.

It has already been determined that there is not enough fossil fuel inside of the US to sustain this country's exorbitant demands. Our geography is not agreeable.

Now let me ask you, what is wrong with having a solar panel on every roof, and a smart house that is green? Doesn't that serve "freedom" as you put it? In that it makes every household more independent and less dependent on grid energy?

You're wrong about the geography...that's sophistry from Greenies. ANWR has rich deposits that can be developed cleanly, as do many other locations in the US. They're discovering more every year. We'd displace oil as an efficient fuel source before it runs out. We could do it with little to no impact on the surrounding areas.

BTW, nothing wrong with solar, panels, smart houses, etc. Use everything. I'd have a solar car if I could...just don't lie to me to try and get me to use an inferior product.
