So...Pats' possible moves

It's possible that he's not a good fit... pretty much if he's not smart enough to pick it up. But he has the heart and physical tools to fit just fine. I don't care about his size or the fact that he looks kinda like buddha. If he can learn the system then he's a perfect fit.

He could learn the system all he wants, but he does not have the physical tools to be successful in it. If we're making any moves at the ILB position this offseason, it's going to be to upgrade Guyton's first and second down position, not downgrade it by adding another guy whose primary tool on defense would be his coverage abilities. Give me Larry Foote on this defense over Brackett any day of the week.

Ok, I thinking signing these players would put us over the top, and maybe this year we will get out of the 1st round...tell me what you think....

Sign.....

Willie Parker- RB- When healthy Hes one of the fastest RBs in the league. Still young.

Kevin Walter- WR- Seems to always find a way to get open. Big version of Welker.

Lance Moore- WR- Quick WR. Should be able to get on the cheap.

Matt Turk- P- Just get someone better then Hanson.

Carlos Rogers- OR Dunta Robinson-CB- Resign Bodden, and sign one of these guys to start on other side.

Scott Fujita- OLB- Seems to be pretty solid.

Adewale Ogunleye- DE- Peppers wants 18 a year. Not going to happen here. Sign this guy for 2 year deal while we find something better.

Jason*Taylor- DE- Its happening this year.

Find a backup OL.

Resign Vince, Neal, Faulk,Bodden.

Championship!

I'm going to guess we won't want to go that crazy...but i think we need alot of help.

Kevin Walter- WR- Seems to always find a way to get open. Big version of Welker.

Lance Moore- WR- Quick WR. Should be able to get on the cheap. Unless something changed, Moore is a RFA unless the Saints decide to not tender him. I just don't see that happening.

Matt Turk- P- Just get someone better then Hanson. People always knock Hanson without actually looking at all the stats.. That being said, I agree that Hanson should only be an absolute last resort re-signing.

Carlos Rogers- OR Dunta Robinson-CB- Resign Bodden, and sign one of these guys to start on other side. Since when did Carlos Rogers become a UFA? He's another RFA and will be tendered for at least a 1st round pick

Scott Fujita- OLB- Seems to be pretty solid.

Adewale Ogunleye- DE- Peppers wants 18 a year. Not going to happen here. Sign this guy for 2 year deal while we find something better. No thanks. I'd rather the Pats go after his teammate Mark Anderson, if Anderson doesn't get tendered.

Jason*Taylor- DE- Its happening this year. Don't hold your breath

Find a backup OL. The Pats already have several back-up O-linemen. In fact, they have 4 OTs who should be able to stay healthy..

Resign Vince, Neal, Faulk,Bodden. The Pats are moving on from Neal. He just can't stay healthy. I agree with the other three.

Championship!

It's going to be interesting to see how many players do and don't get tendered and what level the ones who do get tendered will be at.

Regarding one of your "red ink" lines: I actually expect Neal to be back.

It will be interesting to see what personnel moves we make before the draft.
