1) Jets lose to the Colts with Revis getting called for pass interference 7 times. Tubby declares the Jets the Super Bowl favorites for next year and makes disappointment in 2010 almost a certainty.
2) Vikings lose to the Saints with Favre throwing 3 interceptions in the first half before getting injured and taken out of the game just before halftime with the score at 28-0 to the Saints. Tavaris Jackson steps in and and throws for 250 yards in the second half bringing the Vikings back from the dead but just not being able to get enough done and losing 42-35 with a 148 passer rating but becomes an instant hero with the Vikings fans and leaving Favre with no option but to announce his retirement. Reggie Bush (the only jerk-wad on the Saints) tears his achilles, ACL, MCL and larynx on the same play and is unable to participate in or talk about the Super Bowl.
3) The Colts lose to the Saints in a blowout and we all get to see the apex Manning face against a backdrop of fireworks and confetti.
So to sum up...The city of New Orleans gets a needed boost, Goober gets a gut punch, Favre teases another city but inevitably tears out their heart yet again, and the Jets set themselves up for a biblical letdown in 2010. Sounds about right to me.
I can NEVER NEVER NEVER root for the JETS ... ever!
For me to have them this close to a conference championship gives
me CONSTANT NIGHTMARES.
Fat man with big loud mouth, loud mouth players and loud mouth FANs.
I CAN NOT STAND these newyourkers!!!!! I am hoping the Colts
score BIB BIG BIG!!!! and they keep these loud mouths to less than 10 points! zero would be better!
I would add the curse of the Super Bowl loser to the list of 'good things' should the Jets or Colts advance and get beaten. Statistically the loser rarely makes the playoffs the following year so its a win-win for us 'if' the NFC team wins this year.
even better, for the Jests to lose to Lord Favres Vikings - DELICIOUS! This scenario gets better every minute.
Beautiful irony that last year Favre was their QB !
But wait - there's MORE! You also get....
the great things about the Colts losing THIS weekend. In their own building: hearing the silence of the crowd; seeing the disgusted looks on the players faces and their heads down as the cameras zoom in; seeing the shock of the crying fans with their # 18 jerseys on. That will bring a smile to my face. We get to see the sad distraught fans of the Colts this weekend, and then the upset fans of the Jets in 3 weekends. THAT IS GREAT ENTERTAINMENT for me.
And for all the Colts players, coaches and FO to know that they brought this wrath onto themselves for laying down to die in week 16. For chickening out instead of playing all out -going for football immortality. Knockout - score 1 for bad karma. Don't EVER mess with the football gods! Play the game with integrity you sniveling Colts (aka. weasels). I hope Colts get beaten so bad - they have to be sent to the glue factory to be put out of their misery.
Perfect 10 irony of ironies; this would be to PoLyin what spygate will be to BB. PoLyin would never live this one down.
It is a PERFECT SETUP on all sides. This scenario will mentally negatively impact BOTH Jets and Colts fans/players for years to come.
GO JETS! (Then GO SAINTS / VIKINGS!)
Come on Sadist Pats fans everywhere - UNITE!
If the Green Beans beat Indy, it will forever haunt the Dolts for having literally spawned their own demise by letting them into the playoffs. All Indy had to do was beat them a few weeks ago and Jersey would've been eliminated en route to a perfect season. It will forever tarnish Polian's legacy and wreck Manning's quest for a second ring. I want the Beans to beat Indy and then get slaughtered in the Super Bowl by New Orleans. To me, that's the best of all possible outcomes.
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Like it or not, the Jets are the odds-on favorites to win our division for the next couple of years, assuming they can hold it together. Sanchez has improved and will only get better. Every thing else is in place.
