Why not call the timeout BEFORE the 2 minute warning? Saves you about 5 or 10 seconds.

For what possible reason did he NOT take a timeout there? Please don't tell me he's holding the timeout for 3rd down, as though the Jets are going to pass the ball on one of these downs.
