Ray Lewis: Brady injuries "the biggest set-up ever"

I agree that it actually might pay to keep running it at Ngata with Morris and Taylor. Let Maroney and Faulk control the outsides. The term "pound the rock" didn't come around for nothing. Repeatedly running at Ngata, though it might not produce much outside of a three yard gain, will eventually tire the big man out. On top of that, it will set up the play action nicely.

when i was checking our initial meeting this year last night I noticed morris was having more success than maroney and faulk it seemed in that game. He pick up half a dozen 1st downs as well as a TD in the RZ. They were doing a lot of dives but away from Ngata tho. The one that went in his direction didn't seem to equal much positive yds.

I hope that isn't lost upon Bill O'brien.

No, you're an ******* because you're from Boston.

And because you're from Baltimore that makes you an illiterate syphillitic? (look up the stats - - Baltimore is #1 city in the nation in both).

I don't think running at Ngata is going to work or tire him out. He's exactly the type of DT that Koppen has the most issues with.

:singing: This is still going and has now turned into a East side west side thing.....

The first requirement of the definition is a criminal which suggs is not.

How is it a copout because the italian mafia of more than 50 years ago wasn't at the fore front of my mind. The fact is you raised one name. there are alot more black athletes that are called thugs because of ridiculous reasons.

i don't lnow about that. he got in some trouble out at asu. i forget exactly what it was, but i know it wasn't good. i think it was around the time he was getting drafted.

Suggs could very well be a criminal, he does have a domestic violence charge pending. Not that a charge means he's guilty, right?

A.) I'm actually from DC.

B.) Those statistics quite obviously apply to the inner-city. Even if I was from Baltimore, do you think I would be from the inner-city?

C.) A more accurate statistic may be that Maryland is the richest state in the country per household, and has the best education system in the nation.

This is comical.

A ravens player basically says that Brady is great and that great players play great even if they have "injuries".

So the Pats homers work themselves into a frenzy over this dis! "How DARE HE!".

Homers chasing their tails. Go homer, go!

You've been dissed! You're a key component of the Patriots! Time to show your outrage!

wait a minute wait a minute WAIT A MINUTE!!!

Is Ray Lewis implying that a team might be supplying misleading information in order to alter their opponent's strategy? My God, that's unheard of in the annals of sports! Just like they were the first team to ever try to record an opponent's signals!

IT'S PLAYOFFS TIME BABY!! NOT A SINGLE POSTER IS HOLDING BACK!

To be serious for a second though, if any of Baltimore's guys take a cheap shot on any of our guys, I hope the favor is returned. Nothing would be better after seeing (It's a guarantee we are going to see it) cheap shot being laid out on Brady, Mankins and Vollmer doing a tag team uppercut on the guilty players sugar lumps.

Baltimore plays tough, and I love that about them, but sometimes like Pitt. they take it too far. I would love to see our team go out there and show them that we can smash mouth with the best of 'em. This game is gonna be wild!:singing:

It should be a good one. Some of you guys are over sensitive about these "cheap shots" It's football not table tennis.

What, you mean the NFL doesn't do "two-hand touch" anymore?!

So, you were just as correct about the other poster being from inside "Boston" as I was about you being from "Baltimore".

By the way, to throw a bigger wrench into it all, I'm a decade + resident of Olney and am still mourning B.J. Pumpernickel's closing this past Tuesday.

It's funny how you want to squeeze "New England" down to "Boston, but do the exact opposite of expanding "Baltimore" to all of "Maryland". I can assure you that Maryland is 40-40-20 Ravens-Redskins-Steelers. New England is 85%+ Patriots.

Nothing changes two things:

1) Ray Lewis' comments were really no big deal. I can't see how anyone could make a big deal out of that.

2) Baltimore is a sewer surrounding a fake Disneyland park at the Inner Harbor, but it sure is easier to drive there than DC. ;)

No, I took the highly-likely gamble that a Patriots fan would be from Boston, and I ended up being right. Your guess was no worse, but unluckily, you were wrong.

Hah, that is an Olney establishment, and as a Bethesda resident, I don't share your grief.

The actual city is a dump, but the suburbs really aren't that bad, which reflects well on the state as a whole as Towson and such are the worst parts of the state when compared to MoCo, Annapolis, the Shore, etc., and I pledge allegiance to the state of Maryland, and not to any one city.

This is way off-topic.

.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Fixit is in NY.

And congratulations on being 9 miles further from Baltimore than I am.

Damn, I thought I could get away with assuming that a Patriots fan would be from Massachusetts, but alas, the bandwagon is too big.

Yep. I'm always amazed that opposing fans who make statements like "I hope so-and-so takes out Brady even if it means a penalty and fine" don't realize that, if that should happen, it's likely their QB is going to be carted off the field the next offensive possession.

And somehow it's the Patriots who are lacking class, huh?

Have to post it again, because I think teh homers didn't see it.

Maybe plenty of the "homers" saw it but refuse to be baited... What exactly are you expecting for a response?
