ala 03, 04?

meaning strong running game, no big name wr's, decent te's, strong defense that causes turnovers

the only difference i see is with our superior qb....

but other than that, they look a little familiar

Jets were given a golden willy wonka ticket into the playoffs, they dont have the heart that any of those Patriots teams had.

The Pats of old like when they had a terrible QB? Yeah for sure

No, the Pats of old didn't have a QB who threw twice as many INTs as TDs.

No. Belichick is light years ahead of Ryan.

The Patriots never needed to play two teams at the end of the schedule with one benching it's starters with a lead and the other deliberately losing just so they could play them again the following week.

No, the Jest aren't nearly as good as those teams.

No, they look like the Ravens of last year except Sanchez isn't as good as Flacco.

We had better defense, MUCH BETTER QB, best coach ever, more soul...
only their running game is better than ours was

Not in the least.

No. The Pats played consistently well in the last 6 games in 2001, and had to beat two divisional rivals also finishing with 10 wins or more and fighting for playoff spots. Prior to those six games, the Pats went 2-1, with a 1 TD loss to the Rams.

The Jets had 3 consecutive losses before beating the Cats, Bills and Bucs, then losing to the Falcons when barely hanging to a playoff hope. The Christmas gift from the Colts kept the hope alive and a win against the once again reeling Bungals got them in. The story is not consistent play down the stretch, instead it is floundering with good fortune.

I would say the Jets D is better than the Pats D was in 2001 (even without Jenkins at nose), but that offense, other than the win against the Bengals, is spotty at best and wildly inconsistent. If the Bengals can find the old stride (and better do so after last game), the Jets may enjoy a very brief visit to the post-season. The Pats in 2001 were not expected to do anything, the Jets were expected to be a playoff team. Sanchez is not the Brady story.

Ditto Ditto and oh ..... Ditto.

The only reason the Jets are in the playoffs is because the Colts let them in. They earned nothing. The Jets story of reacing the playoffs is like a episode of Monday Night Raw................FAKE.

Yep, circa 2001.

Pats didn't rely on brady to be a superstar, just a tough team.

Jets pass defense #1, rushing offense #1? I'd say better than the pats.

Sanchez isnn't great but he's good enough and they don't rely on him to be a hero. Better than trent dilfer and look how that ended up.

IF the jetsies play patsies in foxboro, whaht a game. I hope we don't lose, how embarassing that would be.

OF course you'll get reamed for this, how dare you suggest such a thing.

Bite your tongue...

Yep, circa 2001.
Brady had an 18/12 TD/INT ratio in the 2001 regular season.
Sanchez has a 12/20 TD/INT ratio.

Thanks for playing.

Yea 1978. Very good D. Lead the league in rushing. Grogan threw like 20 picks and they got waxed 1st round of the playoffs.
