In five out of those seven seasons, Manning had the higher completion percentage.

In five of the seven seasons, Manning passed for more yards.

In five of the seven seasons, Manning threw more touchdowns.

In four out of the seven seasons, Manning threw less interceptions.

In five out of the seven seasons, Manning fumbled less (once they were tied).

In five out of the seven seasons, Manning had the higher quarterback rating.

You should link Ryan's article.

In three out of the seven seasons, Brady...?

Which one theres like 12.

It would have just leaned your bias opinion even more. Sort of like that useless crap King writes.

When the Colts win it all this year.

That's a mighty big prediction for a team that has a history of resting it's starters to the point of rusting up and falling apart in the post season.

They're the hands down favorites. I'm just calling it like I see it, like you guys did all those years when you were on top.

Look at the statistics posted by both quarterbacks in their first seven active seasons, also when Brady's team was earning his championships....

Peyton Manning: 2,464-of-3,880 (63.5%) for 29,460 yards; 216 TD passes, 120 INT's, 213 rushing attempts for 620 rushing yards, 9 rushing TD's, 38 fumbles (13 lost).

Tom Brady: 2,293-of-3,639 (63.0%) for 26,364 yards; 197 TD passes, 86 INT's, 267 rushing attempts for 533 yards, 5 rushing TD's, 65 fumbles (29 lost).

Where do you go from here stupid?

Comparing the first 7 seasons of Manning and Brady, Manning has averaged 2 more tds per season, and 442 more yds. The reason for that is Manning was surrounded by a better offensive supporting cast. In all 7 of Manning's first 7 seasons he played with a slate of a-list receivers while Brady has played only one of his first 7 seasons with a comparable receiving corps. In Manning's first 7 seasons he played with 12 offensive probowlers. In Brady's first 7 seasons he played with 7 offensive probowlers

In the Colts season before Manning, their record was 3-13 record with 310 points scored. The Colts first season with Manning 3-13 record, 310 points scored.

In the Patriots season before Brady, 5-11 record, 276 points scored. In the Patriots first season with Brady 11-3 record, 351 points scored, and a superbowl championship.

2008 with out Brady, 11-5 Lolz

That's actually a pretty good point. After all, they were an inexcusable dropped Gaffney TD away from beating the Colts in Indy.

Brady sucks.

Peyton Manning record in postseason: 6-8. How can you call someone the GOAT if they have a LOSING record in the post season?

Why are we even arguing, these are 2 sure-fire first ballot Hall Of Famers. Let's just sit back and enjoy their careers. These numbers being put up in the original poster's thread opener are quite intersting IMO. The Colts definitely play in a pass happy stadium, and a pass happy division (weaker pass defenses than the AFC EAST), so when the numbers are put in perspective, it makes things look more interesting. BUT, I have to hand it to Manning, he's played on a team that has suffered some big injuries to the secondary, and a lack of a running game, and still has his team at 14-1 (Reminds me of the 2003 & 2004 Pats, lotsa injuries).

Brady has had a remarkable season, considering he missed a whole season. Statistically, he's had his second best season ever, despite, not having a good running game, despite, being rusty from missing a whole season, despite, not having a world class Tight End, and despite really only having 2 receivers. And let's not forget, the Pats had one of the 5 toughest schedules in football.

2 Great QB's, the best of this era (and decade). Like the old Marino vs Montana arguments, these arguments can go on forever. I'll take our guy (Brady), cause he seems more clutch in big games.

This article would have been a lot more interesting from the approach of the OP. "Manning vs. Brady: A Look Inside the Numbers Against Common Opponents". A mouthful of a headline but maybe a clearer picture...

Peyton's numbers could possibly be skewed by the fact that since '02 he has for the most part had weaker divisional competition...

No team has the refs in their pocket.

Actually you could have just said that and not sounded ******ed... Both teams have gotten calls, as have the Giants and others etc... Might want to stop posting crap like this...

2008 Colts without Manning 1-0. Higher winning % than Patriots without Brady.

Cassel's passer rating with the Patriots was 88.2, Jim Sorgi's rating with the Colts 89.9

Are you kidding, Brady cries at the refs more than any player this decade.

Oh, so you are a Colts fan. That was some disguise!
